The movie was too "quiet" for me. I just downloaded birdbox hopefully I'll like it

it ia a great movie with a happy ending. You don't seem to have a good appreciation for a good cinematic.

My friend ditched the movie like 5 mins into it. The mute actors made him assume it is was w/out audio, or boring. I warned him never to judge a book from its cover.

I got a couple of them...in no particular order...

*A Simple Favor
This movie is a perfect blend of thriller, romance, comedy, and suspense. Anna Kendricks is just to funny...naturally. And the movie had an unpredictable plot.

*Happytime Murders
Funny type of movie...in a world where humans and puppets live together. I like the undertone message...the puppets really represented black Americans. The movie is thriller, but a funny one. And I love the use of 80s music as the soundtrack.

*Infinity War
Badass

Others include Boarding School, Gringo, and Game Night.

Movie suck dude. Taught the movie got potential since it's all women adventure.. Gigantic croc and a bear who can mimic voice due to mutation.. baff of a movie.

I've watched most of those movies plus other blockbusters like MI6, Oceans's 8, D.O.T etc.
You are probably a sucker for action movies, which I'm totally into btw (I watched infinity war on the night before it's official release.. To show you how eager I was to watch it)
But, the movies which I always place first are those which leave a lasting impression, which trigger emotions. Breaking in was, yeah, quite predictable, but you can't deny the fact that you felt something while watching it.

My favorite movie genres are horror/thriller and intellectual/mind-bending...

So, as they say, different strokes for different folks.
