Most people in Edo state are not Muslims. I guess you have only been to Auchi. Only Auchi are Muslims plus few converts from other regions or Auchi people who migrated to other region. And Auchi is not up to a quarter of the state. So you can't call a state a bastard state because of the religion of the people in the state.

Despite the diverse religion in the state, we all co-exist peacefully together. Edo state is a blessed state. As the case of Nigeria, we have very diverse languages and ethnic groups. But these groups live together peacefully.

The Edo people are not violent people. Edo people in general respect the Oba of Benin as the highest traditional ruler in the state. And Edo state is a South South state. So I believe the state you are from is not a bastard state, but I strongly believe you are the bastard here classifying a state to a geographical zone by it's religion.
