Manchester United executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward has shortlisted five candidates to become the club’s next permanent manager. Woodward sacked former United manager, Jose Mourinho last month and replaced the Portuguese gaffer with former Red Devils player, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Solskjaer, who took over from Mourinho, was appointed as a caretaker manager to lead the club till the end of this current season. According to The Sun, Woodward identified Tottenham Hotspur boss, Mauricio Pochettino as his first choice to become the next United manager. The report claimed that Frenchmen, Zinedine Zidane and Laurent Blanc are also on the list.
