It splits the round trip fare in two, outgoing and incoming rate, I am pretty sure the fare you have seen is for outgoing alone, you will later see the incoming fare, and it will be summed up to nothing less than 400k

You are right, the price I was seeing was the outgoing fare. However the total price for a round trip is 320k on the app and i think its still a fantastic deal for those that are yet to book. I tried booking for February though.

The cost of upgrade is $200 and the quotation they'll give you from their system will definitely be higher than what you'll find online.

Plus who knows when that refund will hit your account? It can take a while.

It is a complex something. Canada issues 2 types of work permits: Open work permits and Employer-specific work permits. Nigerians are eligible for either if they meet the criteria.

For Open work permit, you may be eligible if:
are an international student who graduated from a designated learning institution and are eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program
are a student who’s no longer able to meet the costs of your studies (destitute student)
applied for permanent residence in Canada
are a dependent family member of someone who applied for permanent residence
are the spouse or common-law partner of a skilled worker or international student
are the spouse or common-law partner of an applicant of the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
are a refugee, refugee claimant, protected person or their family member
are under an unenforceable removal order
are a temporary resident permit holder
are a young worker participating in special programs

As you can see, all these require you to have some sort of Canadian connection. No agent can get that for you unless he/she lies in your application.

Employer-specific work permits is where it gets messy. These permits are issued under 2 programs:
Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) and International Mobility Program (IMP).

For TFWP, your employer must raise a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before you can be given the work permit. Basically, your employer must prove that no Canadian or permanent resident is available to take the job (see here).

The conditions for IMP are:
i. generally the same as for open work permits, only this time the permits are employer-backed (a Nigerian can get such if he/she also qualifies for open permit)
ii. Intra-company transfer (if you company has a branch in Canada and transfers you)
iii. based on international agreements. Certain ctitizens of US, Mexico, EU, Australia , NZ etc (Nigeria is not there).
iv. others

So basically for employer-specific, the agent must guarantee you a job with a LMIA.

Python is used for a lot of things and which ever path you follow, you would see opportunities. That being said, to have a long career in software development, you have understand that programming languages are a means to an end. Being able to speak English and being an effective communicator are two different things. The same also applies to knowing a programming language and being a good developer.
