You mean two players cost £93m, and the rest 19 cost £20m... JESUUU shocked grin shocked

mubbyzhe:
On December 31 2018, Chelsea fc announced a new record for revenue generated throughout last season and profit which totaled a whopping sum of £443.4m, which stands at an increase to the previous fiscal year by £82.1m, a 22.7% increase compared to previous season (2016/17 was a record of £361.2m revenue, with £16m in profit) and a profits of £62m. This will be the fourth time Chelsea fc will be recording profit after an unsurprising loss of £140m in 2005 since the Abramovich era.

Breakdown of how Chelsea made their revenue
Broadcast /TV Revenue – £204.1million (2016/17 was £162.4m)
Player sales – £113m (from 21 players, mostly academy players, including Diego Costa to Atletico Madrid at £53m and Nemanja Matic to Man. Utd at £40m)
Commercial revenue - £172m (£140m previous year)
Match day ticket sales revenue - £74.6m (£66m previous season)

However, the bogus financial figure is indebted to revenues made from Europe which is Champions League or Europa League.

I read it all over before posting at all. No specific figure was given as profit in the article, only revenue. Yet, the thread's title was all about profits

Lol. Just in case you didn't know. You'll still have to subtract expenditure from revenue to get the profit figure. Where's the total expenditure stated in that article?
