Gold target reached. I'm waiting for my next move. The ISM Manufacturing PMI data release by 4pm will be a crucial determining factor.

EURUSD is tricky for me at the moment. But what I'm seeing on the chart are:

1. a correction of the swing from 1.131. If this is true, my buy move is still in sync with the market.

2. a corrective move of the downtrend from 1.149, which ended at 1.13 (61.8 fib level). If this true, then I will be forced to exit at a small loss and wait if a double bottom at 1.131 will b possible.

Option 1 played out.

I'm moving SL to secure 20 pips profit.

The 4:00 pm major USD news came out negative for USD which implies positive for gold. That was basis for my entry, although in some cases market does a correction before following news which calls for patience in waiting for candlestick.

Intra day traders should not just get trapped. All eyes must be wide opened now. This time of uncertainties need careful trading just like yesterday. 2 major causes of that spike were apple woes in Asian markets and big Japanese retail investors bailed out of loss- making positions which happeed simultaneously unannounced. Now tell me how this market is not highly rigged? This will keep happen this year as likely.

Wait for the price to bounce back before entry. Read the thread and you can ask questions there to get more info.
Personally I probably can tell more where to expect bounce, and wait there to see how market react to the level, wait to see rejection candles.

I can only speak for myself anyway. The worst thing that can happen is the markets moving 10,000 pips in minutes and if we are being realistic, we know the possibility of that happening in our lifetime unless third world war breaks out or something similar.

I was trading during the Swiss debacle and still didn't get margin called. Why would any Sane person open a trade when spreads are 50 pips higher never mind 2000?

The bank of England can afford to lose £3bn if they are wrong. Even big commercial banks can afford to lose the same sum or more but is it enough for them to go bankrupt? That's what matters. £3bn could be 10% of their entire funds we will never know.

Anyways, like I said I can only speak for myself. No be competition.

I hope so. SL simply exist to help retail traders sleep better at night, I’m sure you know that. In low liquidity your exit will be based on the next available matching order, which could be 100's or 1000's of pips away from your SL.

Why do you think 10,000 pips is impossible? Say you’re in 5 trades, slippage of 2000 pips on each trade is easily 10,000. Margin call before you blink your eyes. Anything is possible. I sure hope it never occur.

Withdraw some profit, spend on family and friends, buy properties and enjoy life. Tomorrow is not promised.

Then it will be better to resume on Monday cos I saw pepper today & had to take out my loses manually after the reversal. Seems market was manipulated yesterday and today

Because of the crazy range, your usual 40, 80 pips SL would be multiply by 2 now. One needs to adjust risk accordingly.

I don't know to trade news yet, so I just exit my positions before the data are released.

I deposited 10k on first of this month and today is third... So three days, as for broker... I use FXTM and a 500:1 leverage...

So far in terms of experience, I'm still a newbie oo, I'm a student to people like fxwarrior and the likes... I've been learning forex, binary options and stock trading since June last year!!

...I have actually bought gold since the end of last year for a keep til January. But I still expect a decline on H4 which may occur tomorrow after the NFP. Any future decline is always a buy for me

For entry, the ema's need to be in alignment and when price TOUCHES the 30, enter, without waiting for the candle to close.

EXIT if the 4 ema crosses the 15, // Or wait for the candle to close and see if the 4 ema is still on the wrong side of the 15.
