Well, lemme start by saying that I pick draw on thee basis of the odd given to favorite.

When favorite is playing @ home against an underdog, say 5 playing 14 same league/1 playing 10) and the bookies are offering 1.8 or 1.9 or 2.0 for the favorite to win... my assumption goes thus: it’s not likely that the favourite will win, could even be beating by the underdog. So I select as possible draw.

The assumption could still be valid when favourite is playing Away and is offered 1.9, 2.0, 2.20 etc. such Match is a possible draw or the Home team win (at a value odd too)

But if the favourite is playing against immediate team in the league, this assumption is usually INVALID. Cos bookies usually award big odds to both of them and at most times, a winner usually emerge.

Except in cases where the favourite had been on consecutive losses, its odd is not supposed to be high if such favourite would win.

Only in few cases favourite win with big odd. On such day a single bet could take a lot from the bookies.

This analysis does not hold true at all times[b]

i was startled before but now i understand. what this implies that the maximum bet 9ja can pay to winning bettors in a day is N10 billion not million. if all winning slips exceed this amount lets say 20 billion it will be multiplied by a factor figure such as 0.5 to bring all winnings down back to 10 billion naira. so if all winning slips is say 19 billion then simply its 10 billion divided by 19 billion that gives a factor of 0.526. so if i won lets say 2 million naira on that day and total winning slips on that day sums up to 19 billion, i will be paid 2 million x 0.526 which is 1,052,000
