If that was so, how come jf17 came with analog flight control system ( later hybrid ) while j10 came with full digital FBW flight control system from the beginning ?

And if that was so, how come j10 is a aerodynamically unstable aircraft design ( RSS ) while Jf17 is a stable aircraft design ?

BTW relaxed static stability ( RSS ) ie unstable aircraft design for greater maneuverability and a full digital FBW flight control system to keep it stable in flight is found in almost all modern fighters.

The JF-17B has full FBW. The initial JF-17 came with a Hybrid system because the Pakistanis wanted a cost effective aircraft.

The availability of DSI in the JF-17 improves the aircrafts agility.

Both aircrafts are built by Chengdu.

Senegalese peacekeepers conduct a large operation to secure the circle of Koro, in Mali’s central Mopti region. Called FADEN 6, the operation conducted civil-military activities, including free medical consultations, sensitization and education sessions on social cohesion, human rights, justice, and distribution of goods to the community.

In case anybody is wondering why the SA military pays such close attention to what's happening in distant Gabon, take a look at the map.
Both SADC and ECOWAS have an interest in that country. Expand the concept on a country basis and so does Nigeria. Never mind the AU, both SA and Nigeria have failed in this instance. SA more so because we're the only African country that has substantial commercial interests in every single country on our continent.

Nobody is wondering apart from you. I'm just as surprised to hear about the SA military and Gabon as anyone else here.

And for the non-military folk amongst us on this thread, here are the military definitions:

Area of Influence: The area in which a commander must be able to influence events to ensure successful conduct of his mission; and from which an enemy can affect his forces and the outcome of his mission.

Area of Interest: The area in which a commander must be able to monitor developments that could affect his forces or the outcome of his mission.

How many times did some people here ask what we were doing in CAR, which is in Central Africa and nothing to do with us?
Some come here to learn, not vent their insecurities.

Sorry i struck your nerve. You made a blanket comment about people wondering, despite the fact most people are hearing about SA and Gabon for the first time.

it is only timely i corrected that impression.

In one comment you told us France.

In another comment you're mentioning South-Africa, then you carried along Nigeria to legitimize your comment.

What next? Egypt, Algeria or Morocco?

grin grin And ours died in Saudi Arabia not long ago, that's because they are shameless bunch of A holes, imagine the British PM coming to Nigeria for medical care, hahaha, how on earth these leaders don't think, is beyond me.
The moment they have a sneeze, they run overseas, too sad.
Anyways, good luck with the coup plotters, it's either success or lifetime of torture if that coup fails lol

He's basically saying the Gabonese constitution says the president must step down if he is infirm and cannot perform his duties. And seeing that Bongo has suffered a stroke and has been away in Morocco for months convalescing, that provision in the constitution has been met. He also says nobody who watched Bongo's New Year speech would say the man is recovering and well enough to return to office.
He then claims the Gabonese military is the guarantor of the Constitution, which is why they've taken this step on behalf of the country.

I suspect they'll get away with it because the regional body is so weak. All depends on whether the real power in that region, France, decides Bongo's time is up. It's instructive for example, that he didn't slink away to France for medical treatment. And what's up with these arseholes who bolt overseas for medical treatment?
Here in Southern Africa, they all run to SA. The Zambian pres actually died here. The Malawian died at home, they kept it quiet and actually flew his body to SA, claiming he was alive. It was the SA government who forced them to stop lying to their people and announce his death.

I'm opposed to military coups. All we taking the uniform have a great responsibility. Our monopoly of arms imposes upon us a higher calling of restraint. The Officer Corps in Gabon is disenchanted with the current situation with Ali Bongo, but they want civilian processes to prevail. That's how it should be, or as a great man once said, "Carry a big stick and walk softly."

This afternoon it seems the general staff of the Gabonese military is attempting just that.
Watch this space.

how many locked missiles does the alpha jet carry on a single mission?.
Isn't the noise from the jet heard from miles away deter the effectiveness of the ops?
