Good adventure but few mix-ups here and there. First, "Igbo Olodumare" is different from "Àwọn Ògbójú Odẹ Inu Igbó Irunmalẹ". Charaters such as Baba Onirungbo Yẹukẹ, ẹni ti n gbé ibi gegele òkúta can only be found in Igbo Olodumare and not Àwọn Ògbójú Odẹ Inu Igbó Irunmalẹ. Also, Oke Langbodo was only made mention of in Àwọn Ògbójú Odẹ Inu Igbó Irunmalẹ but never in Igbo Eledumare.

It was Olowoaye, omo Akowediran who had his adventures in Igbo Olodumare and encountered Baba Onirungbo Yeukẹ when he was lost in the mystical forest in one of the chapters titled, "Odẹ Aperin Sina Si'nu Igbo Eledumare, Gọngọ Sọ".

Oke Langbodo on the other hand was one of the obstacles needed to be surmounted by the explorers of Igbo Irunmalẹ on their way to "Baba Iragbiji, Ẹni ti n gbe inú iho ilẹ". It was on the top of Oke Langbodo that they encountered "Agbako" for the last time and Kako Oni Kumọ Ẹkun killed him.

Last month I paid a return Visit to the mystical forest of Igbo Olodumare, Oke Igbo in Ondo state. I had earlier visited the previous month but got to the site late and could not see beyond certain places as it was evening already. So I made up my mind to go back, which I did.

I had read Fagunwa’s book and though I believe mystical beings exist, I was fascinated to know the village and the forest itself actually still exist. That was for sure something I wanted to explore.
Please any tips on how to get this historic book? I stay in Niger state. Thank you
Who reads the great Yoruba novelist Pa Daniel Fagunwa’s book ’’ogboju ode ninu igbo orunmila’’ translated to English by professor Wole Soyinka as "Forest of Daemons" and not marvel at the power of his narratives of folklores that were familiar to people. He breathes life to his characters which gives one’s imaginations a treat to wonder and wander at how creative and enchanting his works were.

His works centered mainly on descriptive narratives of demons, spirits, monsters, gods, magic, witchcrafts, and mysteries. Of interest, it is also worthy of note that his works largely teaches high moral levels and standard of living from the Yoruba perspective.

At the foot of the mountain to climb to the forest is the inscription that says "Oke Langbodo ree" that is this is the mountains called Langbodo.

I remember this book (the first one) as a kid, my dad had one. Sadly, I couldn't read it as it was in pure Yoruba. Only my listening Yoruba is that good , the speaking and reading part are not so good. The picture on the cover page used to scare me back then .
