Today marks 24 years since the father of music stars #Niniola and #Teniola passed away. Singer Niniola and Teni took to their Instagram page to share a touching tribute for their dad, Simeon Olaosebikan Apata.

Their father was a retired Nigerian Army Brigadier-General and he was assassinated on January 8, 1995.

That man's death is still a mystery till tomorrow.. He was preparing for the opening of his new school building..school was supposed to resume on a Monday,the only thing we heard was hired assassins killed him a night before..(Sunday).till date,his killers have not been found..(to the best of my knowledge and some insiders too)..
Some people said it was politically motivated, some said he was killed out of envy,while some felt his death was an act of revenge by armed robbers because the man was a thorn in their flesh.. Being an ex military officer that does not joke with the security of his neighborhood ..
