The Lagos State Police Command says it has arrested 14 persons in connection with the violence that broke out at the flag-off campaign rally of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos, APC.

The State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, said after reviewing the video of the violence, the police found out that the rally was disrupted by members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW.
This, he said has further been confirmed by preliminary investigations.
Imohimi, disclosed that some the suspects, who were hired, were arrested around the Millennium Housing Estate and have been giving useful information to the police.

“Around the Millennium Housing Estate, and the area around the bridge, we arrested 14 suspects. Some of them have given us useful information.

“The preliminary investigation we carried out reveals that it is just their internal union crisis. I heard that their state chairman would leave soon and there are some players who wanted to succeed him.

I am actually baffled that the police called it a crisis.
The police should have arrested Sanwo-Olu who doesnt have immunity yet and wait for Ambode to finish his tenure before arresting him also.
After all this grave mortal Violence were committed by their thugs.
Same way they arrested Dino Melaye cos his thug shot at someone(a police man) , why didnt they arrest Sanwo and Ambode.
The way our police have been politicized, Buhari has to go for sanity but definitely not Atiku

Bola Tinubu single handedly gave agberos i.e. NURTW touts a VIP status in Lagos, allowing them to disrupt traffic and harass road users, all because of political gains. The same politicians we call ''leaders'' are the number 1 promoters of violence and evil deeds in our society.

APC is a shameless party. The governor was busy addressing the crowd and their party thugs were busy killing and stabbing each other in broad daylight. Are these the kind of people we should trust with the security of our lives and properties? No wonder the country is in the shape it is.

The damage that guy has done to Lagos all because of political gains is shocking. Because of people like Tinubu, Lagos is a safe haven for touts, even the police cannot curtail them because they are equally involved in the mess.

They won't.. if na Dino or Saraki now IG will order his men to go and surround their homes! Uselessly uselessing useless people is what they do best.
