Well, I got ITA yesterday and accepted the ITA. Today I got an email notification to check my profile which I did. I realized that I have UCI. ( I had been refused visitor visa before) so should I be worried?

Hello House,

Apologies if this question has been answered before.

- Please is it only one (1) police report that is needed for a family application?
- What are the names of recommended hospitals for medicals in Lagos? Any idea the amount for a family of three (3)?

Appreciate your responses.

We got a Feb date as well. When I called, I spoke to a Mary. At a point she become 'hostile'. I had asked if an earlier date was possible and she said to check IOM. I said well, that's okay, but I called you instead and would like to please keep my earlier date allocated.

Na so she begin dey shout. That I'm so ungrateful bla bla. Ah. So I calmed down and let her finish. Then I explained what I meant again. 'I understand that IOM may have an earlier date, but I'm going with your clinic' . Then she calmed down too and we ended the conversation with smiles. Ńa me dey find something.

Maybe I got her at a wrong time.

This is not related to your post o. Just wanted to share.

Maybe they had closed when you called? Or were busy?

Hello fam,

I sent Qlife my ITA and they said Feb 11 is available so I should call in for confirmation. I have called the 2 numbers they provided and sent messages and no response till now.

Is this how they treat their clients?

Thanks grin

Dear, even with zero work experience + masters and a sizeable age(32yrs downward), you're good to go. What assumed score did u use for IELTS?
nelronaldo:

Yeah I have. its 453 that's the CRS.. Just want to know if that's enough to get the PR.
I keep reading stories of two and three years work experience here. I just wanted to be certain my 1year+ wont be a disadvantage.

I believe at least one year work experience is required to qualify.

Apologies for my presentation. I actually believed he must have done at least the compulsory NYSC for graduates.
Imputing that into the CRS tool it sum up to atleast 451 minimum with 8777.

@johnnybravo1990. Bro, I don't think CES is a bad idea. I used them for my ECA and I was very impressed. My wife used WES, and a close friend used IQAS.. I really think CES is the best of all three. ( I am not familiar with ICES though). After about 6-8 weeks, 1- 3 will turn from red to green at the same time. After another 4 to 6 weeks, 4 - 6 will become green too. It usually takes about 14 weeks now. However with the holiday break, it may still extend a little further. I guess the people using CES have increased recently too.

When the assessment is completed they will send you a preview copy, which you would need to check and revert to them within 24 hrs if there is any error in personal information so they can make the correction before dispatching your hard copy.

There is no need to start another ECA with WES, I'm sure you will have favourable update from CES before January ends. Although they are bad with mails, but they have a live chat forum during their work hours, where you can speak to a customer service personnel live and they are very polite (from my experience).

I think you should exercise a little more patience.

Cheers

johnnybravo1990:

Same shoes with yours. My CRS is above 460 - sure of ITA. But I used CES-University of Toronto for my ECA. Tracking it shows it was delivered 5 November 2018. But up till now my profile on their site has remained untouched like I never applied for ECA. The annoying thing is that they said that processing time is 12 weeks from when they acknowledge that they have received my transcript. I have sent them 2 or 3 emails which have gone unreplied. People be complaining about WES but right now I wished I used them. If I had the money I would have started another ECA with WES.
Well I will wait to see some progress with the ECA before booking for medicals and doing the police certificate.

By the way, is there anywhere in Abuja one can do the police certificate stuff? Must it be Alagbon in Lagos?

Since you've applied to CIC before you already have a UCI. Quote it whenever you need to in your EAPR

Still on rejection of visitor visa before doing express entry. Where do one indicate it that he or she has been refused visiting visa before.
Is it at the point of completing your express entry profile.
