PaChukwudi44: Pa Chuks don't enter into any alliance that will come back to hunt you. If truly the FG is behind this case the end game must have been contemplated. In politics there are many ways to cripple your perceived adversary. |

PaChukwudi44: I think the CJN will self incrimante infront of Code of Conduct tribunal. If that happens they can issue an indictment and prosecution or they can impeach and force him out of service....or, if they want to show kindness, the Judicial Council can intervene and offer him resignation. The President has nothing to do with his issue, it does not concern the legislature, it does not even concern the judiciary. This is a simple process for Code of Ethics and Compliance. Get yourself educated on Civics. 1 Like |

PaChukwudi44: Like I said, many ways to cripple your adversary. It must not necessarily be removal. Saraki has lost all his previous swag, his hold on the senate has waned, he passes executive bills with the speed of light. That is enough for PMB. 1 Like 1 Share |

PaChukwudi44: See, he already did... PREMIUM TIMES has obtained details of a statement given by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, to the Code of Conduct Bureau which is accusing him of false asset declaration. He keeps foreign accounts that generates income and he receives monthly statement. Has he paid tax on those capital gains? Thats the hook! He may say he forgot to update filing but did he forget to pay tax on the income also? I sympathize with the CJN. This is his whole career infront of him. He is a lawyer and Im sure he would know what to do here. Lawyers know when to keep pressure, they know how to work around loop holes.....but they also know when to say "you got me, lets make a deal". 1 Like 1 Share |

Great2017: The author of the petition, Mr. Dennis Aghayan was a Buhari's media aide and the pioneer Publicity Secretary of the CPC. I think you need the "grow up" more. That is the reason FFK and Reno are seen as PDP appendages even when they speak their opinions. Why do you want us to think otherwise in this case? What is the difference among PMB, APC and CPC ? PaChukwudi44: True. He already said he forgot to update the records. Before his confirmation in Senate as CJN there were paperwork he would have filled and signed attesting it to be truthful and honest declaration. If they turn out not to be truthful then he has commited "perjury". In a court of law everything is admissible under record. I forgot, i do not know, cat ate the paper....these are all negligence. Acts of negligence and ignorance is not admissible. Did he sign a paper before attesting his declaration to be truthful? Yes. Otherwise he would not be confirmed CJN. He admits now (self incrimination) that he forgot. So he commits perjury. Im not a lawyer, but i make sure i eat amala....and when i do i guzzle it down with plenty ewedu. This brain is well oiled with ofe.manu. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

PaChukwudi44: You are your usual self. You are only jarred to reality when hit by a moving train. When reordering of election timetable was done you were here defending Saraki with all your might. When reminded that it won't sail through because of presidential veto, you boasted that NASS will override it. What was the eventual outcome? |
Re: Buhari Has No Powers To Sack The CJN by ImperialYoruba: 9:27pm On Jan 12, 2019 |
Hey Pa Chukwudi, Nigerian Legislature need to come up with a bill to seal the mouth against self incrimination. So if we had such law CJN could have maintained silence, not admit or deny anything and thus put pressure on CCT to tie any wrongdoing to him. Las las, i dont want them to ruin this man's career abeg. If they want to remove him then get him into a deal that protects his life career and his future and family. Dont crush him and dont ruin him. The war against corruption is still young and it will take many many administrations on same vigour to weed out bad elements. We must preserve people and their dignity even as we weed them out. 1 Like |

docadams: Yes, they are my post and express my views and not the things you make up or want to hear My submission still remains that the author of the petition is a former employee and partner of Buhari who is the patriarch of the Presidency. And by extension, you cannot completely say he may not be doing the bidding of his ally or former employer without a concrete evidence. Is that too difficult to understand? |
Re: Buhari Has No Powers To Sack The CJN by MadamExcellency: 10:38pm On Jan 12, 2019 |
ImperialYoruba: The CCB has a duty to remind him to update his declaration and the body didn't - that's no case. In 2017, the CJN did a comprehensive declaration to cover every earning and assets under review. There is no where he was accused of operating a " Foreign Bank Account ". The allegations borders on operating a domiciliary account on foreign currencies probably in Zenith Bank or GTB which is not a crime |

Well, your Dubai plan is falling apart and he will be force to resign before Atiku election petition get to the supreme court. Watch out and see
