The three arms of government in Nigeria are equally corrupt. Their only motive is to enrich self. Sincerely, I don't care what happens to CJN because the common man don't have access to rule of law. The ruling elite of the three arms have conspire to put the average Nigerian in poverty. Is a pity that most youth in this country are confused. The immediate past president of South Korea was impeached and tried because of alleged corrupt practice. No body has the right to enrich self with our collective wealth. The CJN deliberately didn't declare because he knows the said account is a product of corruption. Am not in support of any political party but it breaks might heart to see the average youth whose future is in jeopardy due to long years of established corruption and self enrichment to come here and shout "rule of law". Is a pity we might remain like this for a long time because the Nigerian people don't know what they want. This is my opinion. |

CilicMarin:Bros even if a military personnel kills someone in or out of the line of duty, you dont charge to court him with his uniform for criminal cases. You petition the military, they will review the case in line with extant laws - existing in military circles - and recommend the exoneration or dishonourable discharge (dishonourable discharge takes the uniform from the soldier) and handover to the Police for prosecution. That is the established practice to respect the dignity of the commission of a soldier, a commission that flows from the commander-in-chief of the arms forces that grants him a license to kill based on lawful orders from his superiors. The same applies, tender your case before it (NJC), they will recommend exoneration or his immediate suspension/dismissal and subsequent prosecution based on existing law that guide their practice within the judiciary as an arm of government. It is the established practice. Trying to arraign a sitting judge in court on criminal charges is just plain madness gone on rampage, if not that justice Danladi himself has proven to be an APC stooge, he should not even be in the mood to entertain trash without know what NJC has said. It's that simple...........in any case, what is the issue? That his asset declaration didnt cover certain assets. Normally a normal productive human may likely increase in value, so as time progresses an annual review of your asset declaration is ideal. The provisions cover declaration before you occupy an office, thats all. That's why most public office holders do it once and use it consistently, just change the date and resubmit it for time sake. Someone writes a petition concerning some assets not captured in his asset declaration, an executive that is balanced/stable and not vindictive will simply forward the petition via the NJC copying him, asking to update his asset declaration details (especially if your own asset declaration is like President Buhari's own that has not changed since 2003). Then when he doesnt including those assets in contention, then you can seek his removal via the same NJC, because you will have established an attempt to hide some assets. Chikena |

ehissi:Only the police in invested with power to investigate and try crimes according to the Constitution....this is not even debateable...A military officer killed a LASMA the other day in Lagos, he was promptly arrested by the police, investigated and arraigned in court...No more no less! Unless you are telling us, there is a special Constitution for Judicial officers....then lead us to that or hold your peace forever.. Crime is crime, unless you are under immunity.. |

Biodun556:Why didn't they hurriedly put Adeosun on trial like they want to do to the CJN The man is going nowhere, they should come and prove their case It is only children that don't know what the cabal is up to Do you know that Lifeless has committed many impeachable offences but zombies always find a way to explain them away |
| Re: Break What CJN Told CCB by ehissi(m): 10:46am On Jan 13, 2019 |
CilicMarin:Both bolded statements is proof that you have no idea what is inside our constitution.......... As for the soldier you claim was arrested, I dont know the facts of that case, so I am not at liberty to challenge/affirm what you have said. By your assertion, it means the police is free to investigate a judge's handling of court cases, based your own interpretation of the constitution and other extant laws without any recourse to the NJC. This is Naive, but you don't need to take my word for it, you can confirm any established lawyer around you what the established practice ought to be.....,.. Note that judges are not just ordinary senior lawyers but representatives/leaders of the third arm of government of our democracy; the judiciary.... |

His assets was updated when he became CJN won't that be used to judge him? We all know it is APC plan to install their stooge from duara as the nxt cjn.Nigerians are patiently watching to know the outcome of this case which will go a long way to determine whether we are actually practising true federalism. |

Yes Buhari intends to have him removed because he is not a Northerner Yes Buhari is a myopic, religious, tribalistic clannish bigot. But Onoghen has consistently frustrated the fight against corruption and that can only be because he is corrupt. His defence that he forgot to....already nails him. He should be kicked off the bench ASAP. Unfortunately as the Saraki experience has shown the CCB is nothing but a toothless bulldog |

Every politician or political appointee has a file with dss, efcc and police to record there every bad move in other to check mate them whenever the need arise. See adeosun own na when she get issue with sec oga them remember say she no get real nysc cert. Nigeria problem is beyond surface, it is very deep. Nigeria civil servant is dominated by several northern family(one ministry of justice,in police,in efcc, in inec, and 1 as governor). NIGERIA PROBLEM IS BEYOND BUHARI. It is for southern people to also help there people in this key places of governance whenever the opportunity arise. All this northern were not in those positions by mere appointment, |
