no special strategy, it is our attitudes in Nigeria, why has their strategy not work in advanced country where the public and government knows what they are doing.

If you want to study strategy, Apple, Huawei, 1+series and others are worthy to study not tecno.

Europe, America, India, China, Middle East and to some extent south Africa. Even if they realese phones that could compete in Sub-Saharan Africa, they just don't push it, they allow the product to market itself. Infinix just tried to penetrate India and you can check the reviews in Indian.
Bottomline is tecno did not do anything special, they went to market others sees no hope and gives them something even though it is not standard, people will buy it because the alternative is limited.

I hope the tight market in Europe, Asia, America and Middle East will eventually push other OEM to Sub-Saharan Africa just as it is playing out now, my prediction is that tecno will be more reasonable with price and specs. What people calls improvement on the part of tecno is not improvement at all to me, they always have the capability to do those things, tecno just felt their is no need for it since access to phone with those things are limited here, therefore they decides what specs they wish to give the people and slam price on it. Tell me is it improvement or choice if tecno decides to use mediatek P60 on their best phone of 2018 and still maintain same price?
The case of tenco is a classic case of monopoly.
