No. Your WAEC can't serve as English proficiency. This you can get from your college / tertiary institution.

A C6 in English in waec can actually be used but you will need to get a letter from your university stating that your language of instruction during your undergraduate studies was in English too.

Also they said we should send two copies of the documents to the university.
how about those applying for more than one university. Does it mean that for each uni we apply to. we send two supporting documents.


And if we have to send to many universities. can we use photocopies of the notorised documents. (thats after notorising the documents. we now make photocopy of that notorised document to submit) or do we need to keep notorising same documents depending on the number of schools we are applying.

finally pls do you have an idea about how much mail posting with Nipost costs from Lagos.

Thanks for the information shared so far as regarding this scholarship. Have a few questions to ask.

1. What are the chances of one who is going for a masters program completely different from what he studied at undergraduate level, for example, a microbiologist going for a masters in computer science or going for MBA in China. What are the chances he will get the scholarship as well as the admission OR are your chances higher when what you are going for a related course with what you did at your undergraduate level.

Anyone with relevant experience or examples can advice us here, thank you

You can notarise or certify. But notarisation is more expensive.

The documents should be at the school on or before the school application deadline.

I went to Unilorin for ENGLISH PROFICIENCY CERT.., they sent me to pg school, pg sch said it is only Registrar that can give it... They are just passing me to themselves..

For BSC, write only your personal statement

For MSC, You can just write about your personal statement/statement of purpose and about the course you aspire to study and the research aspect youhope to work on in your MSc project.

In PHD, include the above (statement of purpose) and your research proposal merged as one file.

Ensure you write about a minimum of 200 words for BSC and about 600 to 800 words for MSC and minimum of 800 words for PHD

First photocopy your certficate and transcript. Notarise the photocopy. Then scan the notarized photocopy.

You will need to upload the notarized copy in the onlind application system
