Thanks. Yeah, trying to avoid the stubborn ones like GTB.

From the thread, I understand that the closest gtb gives is a Signature Confirmation Letter.

Part of the fund is primarily in gtb which has been our savings account over time. Some in Access. So thinking of moving gtb fund to access and gift deed sent to Access.

Would still get statement from gtb to explain the lump deposit to Access.

Just wanted to be sure Access is compliant and a good idea before moving the funds there. Don't want to move it there before realizing it's a wrong move and having to move to another bank again hence the question.

I got mine from Gtb speak to your account office if they refuse inform them of your intention to move your money so that you can get the letter from another bank, you will see how sharply they will produce the letter.

Good evening ma.

Thanks for your advice. I'll take it seriously.

I didn't actually write TEF cause I was afraid I'd not reach the cut off. I've been writing French exams for the past 6yrs (since 2013) for personal reasons. I was only surprised cause I felt my TEF wasn't so good and yet it boosted my crs that much.

Maybe I missed the part of page one where the peculiarities of entering the details of a sibling in the United States were discussed. Bravo on filling your form without asking questions, that's some level of intelligence.

I created the TEF thread linked up to page one on this thread so I really understand how you feel when people ask questions we believe they should not ask. The only difference is the way we handle it.

Meanwhile, do you think it'd be a problem if the reference letter for my current employment is dated 3 months prior to my application?

Honestly, I didn't see that on page one.

Clearly, payment failed and it's definitely a problem with your bank. Contact your bank ASAP. I hope you used your own credit/debit card? Maybe the card has been flagged/transaction reported.

Hello house
I've some enquiries about POF

I intend to use gift deed from my father.will I need to prove that my father has the ability to gift the money CONVINIENTLY during submission or at any point in time during the processing time? This is because for "one reason or the other" I am thinking of using my mother account to do the gift deed but her account does not have a history of heavy transactions.

Sometimes I really wonder if the deed of gift is that simple....more like I hope I am not missing something ohhh.

Biko seniors in the house....I need answers please.God bless you

You will be debited again before the end of today. You will be charged today's dollar equivalent. I had a similar experience, I was debited again within 30mins and was charged about 20k less cos CAD was lesser that day.
But you could contact your bank if that will make you comfortable.

Hope this helps.

I just read a 2011 case commentary and I'm amazed at what Nigerians can do to one another. Please for God sake, make yourself as faceless as possible on this forum, avoid the PM and WhatsApp group thing if possible before someone pick up your details and write IRCC as "concerned Nigerians/Canadians". It doesn't matter if you have something to hide or not. Good morning.

I'm sorry to say but you need to change your mentality because if you can come here and make generalizations like this then you haven't learned the real lesson this case should teach us. Which is that Canada is a civilised country were everyone has rights. You don't make decisions based hearsay or without giving the other side opportunity to defend themselves.

Who says this letter was written by a "concerned NIGERIAN/CANADIAN" and not some disgruntled girlfriend or boyfriend with a vendetta.

Who are the so called NIGERIAN/CANADIANS? Are they a recognized association in Canada with officials or representatives.

Who signed the letter because from the way i see it, if the letter wasn't officially signed by someone then it's invalid.

And if the letter was signed they have to present evidence to back up their claims.

And for a VO to make a decision based on that letter then something must be wrong.

Finally, if you decide to believe that every Nigerian is trying to bring you down then that's too bad but I don't think you should come here and give such negative advise.

Please house, does anyone here have contact details of someone in waec office that's involved in the processing of results that I can talk to as regards processing mine?

I submitted my application to them since December 13th, 2018 for my results to be sent to WES and up till this moment, it hasn't been processed. Meanwhile the courier lady I spoke with is telling me that some applications from dates after 13th have been processed and sent and my result is 2006 may/June which i believe is recent and shouldn't take time. I'm running out of patience at this moment sincerely.

I have had my Ielts results since November but couldn't enter the pool. Meanwhile, all my transcripts and certificates from other schools has been sent and received by Wes. Waec is the only one left for evaluation to commence.

Kindly help a sister biko!

I think the question is: Has any Nigerian resident's application been sent to London since August/September when LVO was decongested and surplus applications sent to Kiev?

I'm interested in finding out if otherwise, but I think our applications are now mostly going to Ottawa, Sydney and Accra. Maybe a few Montreal.

MAO1:
I have noticed that there has been no PPR rain from the London Visa Office over the past 2-3 Months...am I mistaken or have some good folks received PPR from LVO?

I would speak based on my own experience. My POF was 100% gift deed from my mom. All I submitted from her end was her statement a few days preceding the gifting and highlighted the transfer. On my own side, i submitted about 2.5 months statement ( honestly do not know why I chose to submit 2.5 months). My mom and I signed the gift deed, with my dad as witness, I notarised it and wrote an LOE for it. That was basically all for POF, no ADR. July AOR, December PPR.

Chief, pls don't take this the wrong way.

I thought this your moniker was familiar. In 3 months it will be 1yr since you started asking on these Canadian threads about Express Entry. U gotta make up your mind and start with page 1. You will have lost 5 points already from the 1yr increased age.

There is no law that states you must do so. It is an insurance.

But pray tell, why don't you want to do a gift deed?
Blooit004:
If I'm getting like 50% of my proof of funds from my mum, is it a must that I do a gift deed? Can't I just write a LOE and attach transaction receipt to show funds is a gift from my mother?

a. If you applied for any Canadian visa before, OYO is your case.

b. If you applied to US before, OYO may be your case.

c. If you applied to other countries before, you are probably safe.

If 'a' or 'b' applies to you, a carefully written LOE may save the day.

Hello People,

So I have been thinking about something. If you have family living in Accra can you send your passports to them to submit at AVO?

I am thinking one might be able to save some money and also expedite the COPR. A win-win!

People with similar experience, those that know/have read about those with similar experience or those that have facts to support the move kindly assist.

Thanks in anticipation.

As a result of the letter, the Immigration Officer failed to fully consider and properly weigh the evidence at hand.
