Hello, tried scheduling my k1 visa appointment but it keeps saying 'there are no appointments available' am I suppose to wait and receive any document/package from the embassy before the system will allow me schedule an interview appointment. Please needs help on this

Yes, I heard it has been a bit difficult getting dates for an interview. Just keep checking and hopefully you will get something soon.

Do I have to wait and get any document/package before the system will allow me schedule my k1 visa appointment. Someone to me the embassy will send me a package that will give me access. Don't know how through. Been trying for more than 2wks now. Thanks

Probably cos the US embassies are shut down. There are tons of people from December who are yet to be interviewed due to Government shutdown. Those applicants will be rescheduled.

Hello Darasade,

You don't need to wait for any other documents/package, as long as you have your Case Number and you are able to create an account online as instructed from the Embassy.

The Embassy/Consulate is not closed. It's not affected by the Government shutdown.

It's only the American Centers (i.e. the Research facilities etc.) that are closed.

Interviews are currently been conducted and visas are been issued.

I'm still getting the "there are no appointments available and i've been trying to schedule a KI Visa interview since December.

Anyone else having the same issue?
