check the shifter cable, it is dislodged from the shifter inside the cabin. Your vehicle is obviously over 200,000miles

Good day bro, thanks for your prompt response , may God bless you real good. I checked the shifter cable with my mechanic it was ok. My mechanic said the problem is from inside the gear box and he will not advice me to repair it that it's better to buy gear box. Pls what's your take on this? Secondly how much can I get corrola 04 gearbox 5pin. Lastly sir what's the recommended transmission oil for corrola 04 and the price. Initial problem : the gear refuse to enter reverse. All other gear working perfectly. Before this problem happen anytime I want to shift from park to reverse it always makes one strange crack noise and I need to apply force to be able to shift from park to reverse especially when I packed in down sloppy Area. Thanks

I need your help for my 2005 QX56 (Infiniti), the transmission slips. I have changed the Trans Oil but it still does same (does this once the car is well warmed up). Sometimes, it engages and there are no problems, sometimes, it doesn't change on time leading to revving. Reverse is fine though.

A technician says to change the valve body as that is the likely cause but I want expert opinion (haven't scanned yet).

I don't want to do anything yet so I need your thoughts on this and perhaps how and who best to help fix this.

Thanks for the earlier advice.

Engine has been changed, but the current engine experiences rough idling from cold start, especially in the morning until after about 20mins drive before it stabilizes. Nozzles have been serviced, a set of new spark plugs installed and engine oil changed.

Current codes are P1349 and P1346.

Car is 2003 Corolla with Manual tranny.

had one for 5years, it's rugged. But I started from 0miles it's 69,000km now, and only major thing replaced is rear suspension bushings.

1) What possible problem does a car have if it won't Rev past 5000rpm. The engine has enough power but th rpm would keep playing between 4500 andd 5000
2)the said car now requires plug change monthly (I sought help here when car lost power and eventually changed plugs and car was fine). The symptoms have returned this morning
Are the two issues related and how can I finally get rid of this village people. Thank you
