I was priveledge to see the CG prisons diz morning at Sheraton hotel abuja...dey all came for a function... Saw him eye ball to eye ball.... I asked few of his security details abt the list....one said...it will be out soon...I said sir....we HV bin hearing soon soon since...he smile and said.....bfor diz month ending....it ought to be out.

Let's be hopefully..#cheers

I approach anoda officer.....he said....it ought to be out since.....DAT it was delay bcozz of the course and training going on in various training camp....DAT by next week it will be out.

Someone saw the Comptroller of Immigration at the clinic, another person saw CG of prisons at the hotel. Naso una know person reach?
Even me sef I saw Buhari at Lokoja when he came for APC campaign. I asked him about the list and he said it will be released soon. So let's keep hoping. God dey!

I’ve never been optimistic than this time around, because most of those you met are the ICT staffs. They have first hand information if the list is going to be released.

The waiting is becoming boring...what could b their reasons for the day biko

None that I am aware of...who knows it might just b the final list of successful candidates that might be released

-The CGP wants a tradition where the first Thursday lecture of every yes will br delivered by the cgp.
-30000 capacity prison to be built in FCT this year
-Prison information nut system to be launched in the 3rd week of the year to capture the biometrics of all prisoners
- interview of New staff before the end of January
- single shift to be a thing of the past in all prisons soon
- I have no power to pay arears, your salary is with the IPPIS, everyone will get their arears when govt is ready... CGP
-the service name soon to be changed to Nigerian Correctional service which will have a non custodians section to be headed by a dcp
- the logo, uniforms, crest, and emblems to be changed to reflect new name
- our first resolve this year is to uplift the image of the prison and secondly is to be of professional conduct
- the new bill will make it compulsory for the cgp to be versatile in prison matters so we are adviced to go round to have the neccessary prison experience
- no act of indiscipline Will be tolerated
- the CGP does not have a facebook account. Beware of the fraudster posing as a cgp on Facebook
- one NOUN should be established in every prison
- in staff welfare; provision of decent baracks accomodation, empowering PRISCO, and early disbursement of PRIWIS fund
