Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa in her reaction to President Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar’s absence at the Presidential Debate, has said the PDP candidate should have shown up for Nigerians.

According to her, Atiku could have just focus and sold his agenda to Nigerians and not get himself bothered about other candidates that refused to show up

She tweeted;

Atiku could have seen this as an opportunity, focus on your focus, ignore who decides not to show up and show up for Nigerians #PresidentialDebate2019

I doubt if Atiku can stand the heat on that stage. He needed someone else to come last. Wow, We just went back to the classroom, so much wisdom being spewed from the best brains of Nigeria.

What A Shame. Atiku Played Into APC Hands by not appearing on debate Atiku messed up. Atiku should have realized that among the illiterates, almajiris etc, he is no match to Buhari who they almost see as a god. I sincerely thought that he would have used the opportunity of the presidential debate to consolidate his hold among the enlightened ones, but unfortunately, he simply played into APC hands. What a shame. I am totally disappointed in his absence.

In my own humble opinion, Atiku absence at the debate shouldn't caused a stir because Buhari has set the stage. Atiku is following a protocol and no one should insult or say any silly thing against him. But remember, vote Atiku for our next president before is too late. Buhari has nothing in store for this county's of ours.

He took the best ever decision. The other candidate would have gang up against him.
Ezekwesili debated with her mates. Atiku is waiting for the big fish.
In humans world, the organisers would have met with each candidate privately to try and confirm those who are willing to attend and then release statement to the media calling out those who refused so we can be sure of those attending
