Now, you are the one being dumb by bringing in Portugal( international jersey) that has no correlation with Barca/madrid or the La liga example.

There are 2 major comic universe which is Marvel and DC, Lets say they are ( Barca and Madrid) for easy breakdown.

Now Batman is exclusive to DC and cant be featured as a major character in another comic universe. Same for our C. Ronaldo example, you cant just fabricate the international jersey excuse cos is not related in the rivalry in the la Liga between Barca and Madrid. Simply put, the international Jesery excuse doesnt exist and not valid.

Now, liking a character is no big deal, but idolizing the character makes one a closet fan of that comic universe.

Like i said earlier, there is a difference between liking and idolizing a character. You claim that green lattern is your favourite comic character yet you use aquaman ( the same aquaman movie that you based indirectly) and spiderman on your pc. This shows you just using random characters, you just using it at random.

Now, when you have a personalized DC character handle etc, that is a different ball game.

The Punisher s2 was awesome, bloody, gruesome and very satisfying as usual. This series just doesn't disappoint. Action filled from the get go, all the way to the end. Simply a masterpiece.

I still can't shake this feeling that this will be the last season of The Punisher on Netflix

REASONS WHY CAPTAIN MARVEL WILL BE SUCCESSFUL

Captain Marvel is Marvel's next blockbuster release come 8th March 2019. Fans and audiences are anticipating it. Everyone can't just wait to see this movie. People are already rooting for it to be successful both critically and in terms of box office.
Captain Marvel will be a Critical success not for any other reason but for the mere fact that it is a Marvel/ MCU movie. Marvel/ MCU over the years have been able to establish a brand or a name and any product (Movies) produced under this name or brand must surely be successful in terms of critical review. Check out for example, Antman and the Wasp, one of the most ridiculous and and stupid superhero movie I have ever, that movie was a jumbled mess and catastrophe but it had a critical success. Critics had the guts to call that movie "good". Good? I asked myself when I saw that. That movie was an embarrassment to the word "Good".
Why was Antman and The wasp successful critically, simple, it was a Marvel/ MCU movie, nothing else. It was successful critically because it was produced under an established and successful brand or name, so it had to good. The image and influence of the successful brand or name over it made it's flaws to be overlooked and it's goodness focused on. Marvel obeyed one of the key principles of Successful businesses which is:
"To build a successful business, build a successful brand or a name because a successful brand or name will build a successful business. This is so because people don't patronise service or products, they patronise brands or name, so therefore a successful brand or name equates a successful business and vice versa"

Marvel understands this, that was why they built a successful brand or name in the MCU. This is something i hope WB/ DC comes to know and works on.
So any movie (no matter how wacky and stupid it is) that comes under the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) must be successful both critically and in terms of box office because it belongs to a successful brand or name.
Same fate awaits Captain Marvel, It will be successful critically (even if it turn out to be a mess) because it belongs to a successful brand or name which is Marvel/ MCU, it's a Marvel movie.

In as much as Captain Marvel will be successful critically, it will also be successful in terms of box office, below are why:

1.) It Belongs To A Successful Brand Or Name:
This has been explained above. Captain Marvel is a movie produced under a successful and established brand, Marvel/ MCU, So it's going to capitalise on it's (Marvel/ MCU) success to be successful.

2.) It Will Leverage On The Success And Buzz Of Avengers: Infinity War And Avengers: End Game:
Captain Marvel Is related either directly or indirectly but mostly directly to both Avengers movies, why? Simple, she has a role to play in them, a critical one at that. People will want to see who Captain Marvel is, what she possesses or can do that will warrant her to play a role in Avengers: End Game to fix up Thanos Infinity spells. As a matter of fact Captain Marvel stands as a prequel to Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: End Game. So the same success and buzz that trailed Avengers: Infinity War, will trail it likewise the same buzz, hype and anticipation that is trailing Avengers: End Game is also trailing it. So Captain is going to advantaged, capitalise, make use of and leverage on the success (both financially and critically), hype, buzz and anticipation of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: End Game.

3.) It Will Leverage On The Feminist Era:
In human history, we are in the era tagged the feminist era, an era where the movement kicking and clamouring for gender equality is at it's zenith. Captain Marvel is a movie about a women as it's superhero or superheroine, Someone who saves the day, someone who others including males look up to not forgetting she has been tagged one of the strongest if not the strongest characters in the MCU and Marvel Universe. Captain Marvel supports and promotes the equality of males and females, promotes and supports non discrimination of women, front lining and dominion of women alongside their male counterparts. In a layman's language, Captain Marvel Supports and promotes the Feminism cause giving the Feminist more than enough to feed on. Since it supports and promotes the Feminism cause, it will be accepted and praise most especially by Feminist just like Wonder Woman (that leveraged on Feminism for it's success). Captain Marvel will be successful because it's going to advantaged, capitalise, make use of and leverage on Feminism.

4.) The Captain Marvel Personality:
Captain Marvel is an interesting character because, one, she is tagged one of the most powerful if not most powerful character and superhero in the MCU and Marvel universe, two, she is a woman and three, we know little about her.
People are curious and itchy to find out who Captain Marvel is, how she became what she is, why she is one of the strongest in the Marvel universe and MCU, what she possesses, what her abilities are, what she can do, how can she help in Avengers: End Game, how did she become Captain Marvel likewise a half human half kree, who the villain is, how is she going to save the day and why, why what brought the war between two galatia race to Earth. All this and more are people's question regarding Captain Marvel thus her interesting personality. The only way people can get answers to the above questions and likewise no more about Captain Marvel is to go see it in when it releases. This people are ready to do/ will do thus the success.

5.) The Hype:
Captain Marvel is one of the most hyped Movie of 2019 thanks to Disney/ Marvel. Another reason for it's hype are those given in No.4 above.
So dues to it's hype, Captain Marvel is going to be successful because it's going to leverage on it's HYPE.

All in all, I'm hyped for Captain Marvel. I'm a DC fan but a lover of good movies irrespective of studio or company. I must say, in terms of superhero movies, Marvel/ MCU are trying and I give them standing ovation for that.

Captain Marvel will be successful both Critically and Financially. It will gross a minimum of $600M, it might even gross over the billion dollar mark, if Black Panther can do it by leveraging on Black Power Movement why can't Captain Marvel do it by leveraging on the Feminism Cause.

In Summary, Captain Marvel will be a success both Critically and Financially and I can't wait for it, I'm hyped for it tho not as super hyped as I am for Shazam, Avengers: End Game and The Joker. I'm also hyped, although not super hyped, for Spiderman: Far From Home. I hope to see a better spiderman and not the mess I saw at Spiderman: Homecoming.
