#WhatiF: Jimi Agbaje ends APC reign in Lagos after 20years?

Nigeria: Lagos State Nigeria has since 1999, been under the leadership of a political overlord, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and for almost 20 years, the major opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been struggling to dislodge the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) unsuccessfully.

The 2019 general election provides another opportunity and the opposition governorship candidate, Mr Jimi Agbaje, who has been growing in popularity has promised to put an end to Tinubu’s hold on Lagos State.

Lagos has seen steady progress and transformation in the last 20yrs under APC. We know how Lagos used to be way back, and they're busy comparing it with failed Kwara under Saraki.

A lot of people don't know that the developmental progress of ACN in Lagos led more Nigerians to give the party a chance in other SW states and eventually, Nigeria.

As Edo people tasted ACN (now APC) and vowed never to return to share the money party, PDP; I pray Delta, Bayelsa, Abia, etc. will have the Edo experience.

When PDP was in power at the top, they didn't win Lagos. Is it now that APC is at the top they will win. Though anything can happen but I doubt PDP winning Lagos.

Change is the only constant thing in life, nothing lasts forever. If another party takes over the affairs of the state and performs below expectation, obviously your guess is as good as mine. Buhari contested 4 times before getting what he wants, am sure if jimmy agbaje persists, a day shall come when the masses would vote him in even if its out of pity. Progress is what matters, not party occupying posts.
