This is really commendable. More of such projects in other parts of this country will ease a lot of burdens on the masses. I give it to the honourable minister for delivering on his presented plan. Fashola's portfolio should be split for better performance. |

TheAngry1:It is difficult to support a man with clear signs of dementia. Such a man for sure can never be in control of anything, talkless of being in control of a complex entity like Nigeria. |

TheAngry1:If you think dementia is not something serious, you can pray that your spouse be struck down with it, while you live and cope with him/her. |

If they can reduce the Apapa gridlock with the completion of this project, it will be a hell of a relief to Apapa and the economy of the country as a whole. Blue3k: |

TheAngry1:You are correct, every sensible Igbo person will do too. The 2nd Niger Bridge, Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, Port Harcourt-Enugu Expressway are progressing. Other critical ongoing projects include the rehabilitation of Arochukwu-Ohafia-Bende road, ongoing electrification of 37, 000 shops in Ariaria International Market as part of Energizing Economies Initiative. The construction of a modern Medical Diagnostic Center is ongoing at Federal Medical Center, Umuahia. The Zik Masoluem project which started 23 years ago in honour of one of Igbo greatest sons has been completed. The Ikot Ekpene - Alaoji - Ugwuaji Switching Station and Trasmsmission Line has also been completed. The Presidential Fertilizer Initiative helped to revamp the moribund Ebonyi State Fertilizer and Chemical Company Limited, thereby creating jobs and boosting availability of fertilizer in the SE. 68,000 people from the SE are beneficiaries of the Npower programme while the SE is the only region in the country where the School Feeding Programme has been implemented in all the states. |
