Nigerian Embassy In Italy Is A Shame. by agenta999(f): 9:51am On Aug 05, 2010 |
the workers of Nigeria embassy Rome has decided to abuse the telephone appointment for new e-passport. selling appointment at the rate of 100 euro each, in the name of emergency appointment. while people who are not willing to pay, will always wait for 1 year appointment before they could be summoned to the embassy. what a shame. every thing Nigeria=corruption. |

Is it part of our culture that we should not be doing things properly ? It is a shame that many Nigerians get the opportunity to live and work in developed countries but fail to change their lethargic ways of doing things. Even in Nigeria, the Europeans and Americans do things properly. Can we compare the running of the British Council and Goethe Institute Libraries with the way the National Library of Nigeria is run? We keep hearing complaints about the disorder that reigns supreme at our Embassies and High Commissions in Europe and yet the FG does nothing about it. It is all about the thinking of the Embassy Staff. It also has to do with the resourcefulness of the High Commissioner at the Embassy in Italy. I bet the Man in Charge there is not very good and that is why the place is not being run properly. You need to see how the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Ibadan, Oyo State, is run. The place is like a developed country in a disorganized Oyo State. When will we start to do things properly in general terms? www.vibes-extra..com |

Redman44: Seconded. Suprisingly the Nigerian Embassy in Brasilia, Brazil is somewhat different. Clean environment, comfortable waiting lounge , polite staff , efficient telephone services . I´ve used their services a couple of times and I must confess ;"it´s definitely something to write home about "!!! |
