It's a shameful thing that in this day and age a country's president treats its citizenry according to how he is voted into power.

And even more shameful when said citizens support such actions... Citizens who should be educated and better still enlightened.

Goodluck Jonathan served first term. As incumbent and someone who had done what you could see, you deemed it safer to vote for him than for a former general who had no on- ground achievement except being a one- time army general.

And now, the same general who felt no qualms knocking out an incumbent is angry at any region he got little votes because he thinks he DESERVES their vote?

DID YOU HAVE THE SAME CONSIDERATION TOWARD YOUR PREDECESSOR? Or was it gonna turn into a bloodbath if not in your favour?

Four years gone and I must be intimidated into another vote else I'm thrown away??

Is Nigeria truly practising democracy?? We need to answer this truthfully. Or is it fear of 'vote for so and so to pave way for us next time'?

We keep spouting...
"Freedom of speech"
"Freedom to vote and be voted for"
"Freedom..........."...... Are they just empty words?

If you did not vote for me, that means you thought someone else could do the job better and I have not convinced you of my capability. The reasonable thing to do would be to use my time in office to give you reasons to trust me..and not a deliberate negligence!

The citizens had better save this nation their forefathers were so proud of. No one else will do it for you.

buhari left southeast and the rain took over, washing off all the evil demons (poverty, terrorism, bigotry, nepotism, hipocrisy, unemployment, insecurity, incompetency, and absolute lootery) he came with him, out of southeast.
say no to a man without a single iota of integrity in him. he told southern nigeria, that produces the best form of human resource abroad, that they are not choosen as security chief because they are not competent, and also, they do not merit such positions.
we agree that we are 5%, but what a proud 5%. i`ll rather be middle class 5%, in a region with least rate of poverty, than be an almajiri, from a region that continuously entrench poverty in their region, by continuously repeating the same mistake of voting politicians that impoverish them, based solely on religious sentiment.

"the first question you should ask is WHY so many from there don't like him." Kindly answer the question for me, why do you hate him so much and when did it start? What is that unforgivable sin he committed against you?
The answer is simple:

1) Buhari has been directly involved in the killing of Igbos for over 50 years starting with his participation in the counter-coup of 1966 where over 300 Igbos were killed. Then the civil war and lost recently, operation Python dance.

2) Buhari has shown his disdain for Igbos in words and in his deeds by referring to us as the "5%" and in totally excluding Igbos from the security architecture of Nigeria

3) Buhari showed the tribal bigot he is by proscribing unarmed IPOB who didn't kill anyone but failing to do the same against his fellow Fulani cattle men who are armed and slaughtering people daily.

4) Life for everyone in general has gotten tougher since Buhari came to power. Hunger wants to kill everybody.

Igbos have more than enough reason to hate Buhari's guts.

Nice one... Atiku is sweeping all Eastern votes and wherever Igbos live be it North and SW.

The dullard terrorist will be retire forever next month. Insha Allahu!

Alright, think of it this way.

You hate him so much that you don't want him and you don't hide it.

You are ever willing to pull in down, even to kill him if you can.

His brothers are ready to give their lives to ensure he doesn't go down.

In all sincerity, if it were you, who will you care for most?

Nobody is saying you must love and support him, but it is EVIL to expect him to love and care for you
As long as they remain NIGERIANS, it is the duty of the president to love , care and protect them. That’s how it works in a sane country.

Everybody knows APC have no chance in the Southeast. Despite Buhari calling the south-east the 5% the constitution will not allow him to deny you developmental projects that belongs to you even if he wants to.

Saying that, I agreed with those who says Ohaneze is not wise and generally when it comes to National politics the Igbos are not there yet. But you will learn and you are already learning how to play politics

1. By endorsing PDP, the Ohaneze shifted the battle ground from the southwest to the north alone.

2. By endorsing PDP, they put Afenifere in an uncomfortable position knowing the existing issue with Tinubu.

3. By endorsing PDP, they pushed the neutral Yoruba to become more Tribal.

4. By endorsing PDP, they are turning PDP into a tribal party.

5. By endorsing PDP, they are killing the chance of Igbos in APC in 2023.

6. By endorsing PDP, they will reduce their worth if APC wins.

7. By endorsing PDP and they will lose their voice in the next four years if APC.

8. By endorsing PDP, they will lose a chance to promote the Igbo agenda in the next four years if APC wins.

9. By endorsing PDP, they have lost the chance to start building bridges with the north ahead of 2023 election if APC wins.

10. By endorsing PDP, they have again lead the Igbos to put their eggs in one basket.

Igbos have more than enough reason to hate Buhari's guts.
It therefore means it's normal and proper for you to hate him. Don't you think it's normal and proper for him to hate you?

Does anyone have the monopoly of hatred?

What I'm trying to get you to see is that hate has never and will never solve any problem.

It's time to end the recriminations

Very true!

Now, consider this;
"You owe every Nigerian responsibility as president, whether they like you /not."
Here, be very objective not sentimental, what exactly is Buhari doing for the other regions he is not doing for you? Has any other President, including Goodluck done better for the SE?

If Buhari is going to hate any section of the country, then he should not aspire to be President of the country. The office of the president is for someone above hate. I can afford to hate Buhari, I'm not aspiring to President. But he cannot afford to hate me, he is the one aspiring to be no 1 citizen.

When Buhari brings back all the Igbos he has killed from 1966 to operation Python dance then we shall stop hating the clueless gworo chewing cattle rearer of Daura.

Funny you!
Do you think, ordinarily, if Peter Obi becomes President tomorrow, the Northerners will support him considering the hatred you have for them now they are in power?

In 2003, Buhari ran with Igbo son, chuba okadigbo and lost. Igbos didn't vote for him, rather they voted Obasanjo, a Yoruba man.

In 2007,Buhari also chose another Igbo son, Edwin Ume Ezoke, yet, Igbos ignored both of them too.

If Buhari selects Peter Obi, the result won't still change.

So. deal with it.
don't worry now, u go cry next month. We shall see
