except omoyele sowore. I remember there was a time we wanted to start a revolution here on nairaland but we were cowards, nobody wanted to face tear gas and guns of police and military. Sowore faced military in 1982 as SUG president of unilag. He led students against military govt, he was captured, beaten and tortured for 2weeks after he was badly injured. He has never stopped fighting corrupt government officials since then with his Sahara reporters.

Just watch a few sowore video on YouTube, you'll have the idea.
