The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has excluded Amina Zakari and other national commissioners from collation of presidential poll results.

According to The Nation newspaper, the collation of election results would be done at the collation secretariat and not the collation centre.

A source who spoke with the newspaper said: “No national commissioner is in charge of collation of presidential poll results. It is true that there is what is called collation centre but it is separate from the collation secretariat, which is responsible for the collation of results.

“No national commissioner will be appointed into the secretariat committee. So, Hajiya Amina Zakari or any national commissioner does not have anything to do with the collation of results.”

Collation centre versus Collation secretariat all na semantics. U see one thing with telling a lie is that it takes u several more lies trying to cover it and turn it into truth but in d end it doesn't fly. All these efforts aimed at polishing d person of Amina Zakari as playing only a fringe role in d collation of election results are all afterthought. While not ask her to recuse herself from anything collation or rather deploy her out of d collation centre/secretariat.

Under his watch, his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa and Anambra states. At a recent Council of States meeting, Gov Willie Obiano publicly registered his appreciation to President Buhari, for the level playing ground he made available during the election in his state. With do or die apostles, and a certain political party in power, such would never happen. Not with their garrison mentality. All states are territories that must be conquered, willy-nilly.

APC has won gubernatorial positions under Buhari in Kogi, Edo, Osun and Ekiti states. The victories were fair and square. The party lost in Bayelsa and Anambra. This President would never manipulate victory for anyone, not even his own party. And you ask us not to trust him? We will, and no mistake.

This is the change we voted for.

This people really think we are dumb, remove her from the electoral body...she shouldn't have anything to do with the whole process... you can't share rice at a ceremony and not favour your brothers with excess meat
