As much as I don't like buhari and his actions but I can't seem to overlook the good things he has done and he's still doing for Edo people. Some reasons why Atiku presidency is bad for the Edo people..


1.Atiku has no plan for us: it's so clear Atiku presidency is all about the Igbo people, unlike buhari that formed alliance with us to make positive change, Atiku is just another presidency that see Edo as nothing.

2.Atiku is distraction and set back for Edo vision: The vision is to join all edoid ethnic nationalities into one umbrella, urhobo, esan, etsako, afemai, ekpeye, degema,bini,isoko etc need to speak with one voice, that's the plan. Atiku candidacy will only halt it..


3.Igbo people and their history changing agenda: igbos are very good at changing history and forcing people to accept them even though they are rejected over and over again, Peter Obi as a vice president will give them more powers to cornered and bully other nationalities..


4.core Edo has no stake in PDP: PDP is really Just an Igbo affair.

This is some of the reasons why Atiku presidency is bad for us as a people, this topic isn't meant to insult or hate other people but an opinion thread.

1. Pls sir can you state the plans Buhari has for us edo people and also cite examples of progress made of far towards that.

2. Can you also explain to us sire how Buhari administration has helped in enhancing the “Edo vision” you mentioned on your post.

You are calling for myn44's attention, to do what? To move this trash to the front page as if you made any sense, instead of you to make an intelligent submission, you are here displaying your backwardness, when you are sick, do you choose who the doctor that will attend would be, when things are hard, everybody feels it.

thank you and I'll answer your question according but first of all I'll like to make it clear I've no hate for Igbo people! Infact I've always see them as God blessed people with their business skills and their love for their people but the hate they show to the Edo people but online and offline can't be ignored and their ignorance of documented history..

1) every Edo indigene knows PDP destroyed Edo state. Until oshiomole came on board and started fixing everything, our lucked increased 100 fold when obaseki came in.

These are just some of APC project in Edo, Benin river port(target 30% of Lagos importation).

Industrial park.
Emotan garden.
Free trade zone
Azure power plant
A refinery.

2) you know when the British defeated the Benin kingdom, they made a deal with the rest of Nigeria tribe to keep to down, the current Niger delta is an Edo territory. many of Edo tribes has been annexed by Yoruba, Igbo, ijaw but they still keep their ancestry.

An Igbo man will tell you ikwere is Igbo but ikwere will deny it.. imagine having Peter Obi as a vice president? It will give them the power to claim their land just as ijaw claimed ekpeye and Yoruba took part of Edo territory into ondo making us landlocked as a state. Hope you are getting me.

But Majority of the things you holding as proof that apc is working was done by the governor especially obaseki.

Until we come to realise that if a governor will work or not is not depending on the party he belongs to but on the individual.


Mind you, the same Pdp you claimed destroyed Edo State did exceptional well in other state such as cross rivers, and currently doing well in rivers state and some other states as well.



So sire instead of blaming this part or that party ..... let’s us blame our own brother lucky Igbinedion for destroying Edo State.




The same APC that is doing well at home is doing very badly nationally.

Lets forget party and let’s talk about the individual, let’s not use the fact that obaseki is doing good to validate or write off Buhari incompetence.

3) oshiomole is a party chairman in APC and he's been feared.

Edo state is one of 3 states with highest federal appointments and government slots.

Obaseki is in APC and we can't keep playing opposition to the federal.

Cross river state development died in 2007 when it's oil well was ceded to akwa ibom.

You need money for development and akwa ibom has overtook cross river in terms of development.

Edo people need human capacity development, infrastructural advancement and industralization. It is quite a shame that your pettiness blinded you to these real issues.
