Will Tanko And Ononnghe Attend Tomorrow NJC Meeting? by stanleyravos(op): 10:52pm On Jan 28, 2019
If the answer is yes, who will now preside over the meeting?

Did Ononghe call any meeting?

Ononghe postponed the NJC meeting indefinitely when judges were already making their ways to the venue.

Tanko , the substantive CJN, was the one that called for this particular meeting .

Yes, they do. That is actually one of the first items on their list of functions, irrespective of who called for the meeting.

Suspension for "letting himself be used as a tool to subvert the Constitution". Those are the words, verbatim, used by the Supreme Court panel headed by Tanko in the exact mirror case that happened in Abia State, where the acting state Justice was penalized and forcibly retired for accepting the position as acting state chief justice after the illegal removal of the substansive chief judge by the state Governor.

The question to ask is whether justice Tanko just offered or let himself to be sworn in as justice Obisike did in Abia State?

He did not just offer himself, he offered himself based on a valid court order by the CCT which up on till now has not been vacated except it's vacated, Justice Tanko is going nowhere.

The NJC being a law abiding body will also take note of that in arriving at any decision today.

In the case of justice Obisike of Abia State as cited by Olisa Agbakoba, he drove to Govt House at the instance of the Governor to be sworn in just like that...

You also forgot to quote Ononghe when he delivered a judgement that CCT is the only Court of competent jurisdiction on matters relating to asset declaration .
Neither did you quote Ozakhome when he said the president has the constitutional power to sack justice Salami
