CapitanPan:THE CCT chair whose court u relied upon to do illegality is also on trial. so whats ur point. isnt his own legitimacy in doubt too. HYPOCRITES we are already divided along ethnic/religious lines. what is left is the geographical manifestation. igbo thinking and hausa thinking and yoruba thinking is clearly different. we are too different. please u all should support division so that everybody will grow along the line of its thinking lets see whether igbos wouldnt be in the fore front. other tribes know this too but they just too jealous of the igbos thus using their negative energy to hold us down |

It'll be madness to forfeit my court appearance fee in support of a guy who has illegally amassed so much that he even forgot all he had stolen |

There's no better way to fight corruption than improving the extant laws and adhering strictly to them. If someone decides, based on 'morality' to tackle corruption cases by violating the constitution and process it sets a precedence. But where does this unconstitutionality end? Admittedly it may be popular and right, for instance the morally popular punishment for armed robbers is instant execution by burning tires but the law gives the robbers room for fair hearing and a completely different sort of punishment or worst case the robber might be set free depends on the argument of his case. Buhari's disregard for the constitution and legal process is no different from Nigerian soldiers disdain for laws of the land. That's why it is only in Nigeria soldiers do whatsoever they like to citizens and go scot free. The executive arm of government and soldiers have always lived above the law, except you don't live in Nigeria. In fact, the top executives have immunity and unaccountable funds called security votes. Buhari himself was faced with a moral crisis to resign or not run for office since he 'forgot' or 'made a mistake' with his WAEC certificate, making him unqualified for the position, but what did he do? rather than do the moral and right thing he employed scores of SANs to use 'technicalities' to explain away and justify his missing certificate. So, it not about what the CJN did, there is a process for his prosecution. It is about what and where the next person especially governors who are minigods would take unconstitutional means to do whatever they like since Baba has shown the world that the constitution is not important and court orders don't mean anything. There is a reason why the world vehemently rejects military governments, not because they are incapable of any good or morality. If one doesn't like the laws or constitution, review and change it. That too, there is a process for it. don4real18: |

Emilo:So if supposing the CJN was involved in an armed robbery case like Saraki with the offa robbery, and several Nigerians killed in the process, we should leave him to continue to preside on cases as CJN just because the timing is wrong ? Reason with your brain now, there is a reason your brain was given to you in the first place. |
Good to know we still have some reasonable and honest lawyers in the country. All of us can't be madt at the same time. When you fight CORRUPTION, CORRUPTION fights back!!
Another mumu post - Just as a million lawyers defended Buhari when he could not provide his certificate. - Buhari said he followed due process. So stop quoting Vladmir. - True let God punish anybody that is supporting Buhari's corruption.

Mujtahida:unfortunately your comment expose your immaturity. you school in Zanra and know how we reason, do you know where I am from? one way to know a very hard criminal is when you discover that the criminal is found of shifting blame for his crime to another person when he has a heart of his own. what you are saying is that we should cover Onnoghen's crime because other people from the other region commit same crime abi? May rescue you before you get yourself into problem. |

| Re: #Onnoghen: Lawyers Ignore NBA Boycott Order by Mujtahida: 2:33pm On Jan 29, 2019 |
alizma:look beyond Onnoghen and deal with the issue of selective justice because while Onnoghen might be on the hot seat today, his matter one way or the other will end but the issue of selective justice practiced without shame by buhari still remains. if you will let off one criminal what basis do you have for condemning another? it doesnt matter where you are from. your thinking and mentality gives you away. everybody said the CJN should resign just because of allegations of crime. yet Danladi Umar who has corruption cases is sitting on judgement over him. one way to know a crook, a fraud and a knave is that such persons will never agree to fairness and equal application of the rules of justice across the board. |

Of course they can go to court but there won't be any sessions cuz they are on strike.. oh sorry, I forgot zombies don't read to understand. Zombism na bastard... God bless the dedicated and patriotic lawyers. The head of the NBA, the same clown the directive to boycott came from himself is on trial for corruption. The Judiciary must be scrubbed, cleaned and totally sanitized from top to bottom. |
| Re: #Onnoghen: Lawyers Ignore NBA Boycott Order by deomelo: 2:53pm On Jan 29, 2019 |
Mujtahida:This is not selective justice simply because the suspended CJ broke the law, he self confessed that he broke your laws and trampled on your constitution. You can not as a lawful, patriotic and sensible human being say a self confessed law breaker be left alone because other people broke the law. If you can not demand the resignation of the CJ, a self-confessed violator of your constitution, you have zero moral authority to turn around and blame other people for demanding his resignation or how they go about it. You lost that moral ground and you can not hide under the constitution because by not asking the CJ, a self-confessed violator of your laws, then why bother questioning other people's authority about the constitution. You can not ignore the constitution on one side and champion the same constitution on the other side. You can not have it both ways. It shows that your constitution argument is bogus, disingenuous and self-serving, you care less about the constitution, you are playing games and pure politics. PERIOD |
| Re: #Onnoghen: Lawyers Ignore NBA Boycott Order by Mujtahida: 3:17pm On Jan 29, 2019 |
deomelo:your psuedo-legal arguments are without substance. You are just spewing ignorance with so much words about the self confession of the CJN. Go and read Section 3 of the code of conduct bureau and tribunal act and then come tell me the effect of the CJN's admission. |

Mujtahida:When ignorant and unintelligent people can not purvey sane, intelligent and rational thoughts, they come up with ignorant nonsense and ask you to go read this and that that they themselves can not post, interpret and stand on. Do I really have to read the imaginary rubbish you are talking about before understanding the fact that the suspended CJ broke the law and confessed that he trampled on the same Nigerian constitution that you hypocrites and disingenuous crocodile tears losers are crying over? Keep quiet if you have nothing better to contribute. |

Then on that ground their removed him. Swear that this is not the scenario.
