These people think they are in Nigeria, where they can lie and get away with anything. MP or no MP. No one is above the law in the UK. She has just ruined her political career. I learnt she was a very dedicated MP. What a shame.

It was learnt that the driver of the car she named, was in Russia at the time of the offence.

In UK people get points for traffic offences once you reach a certain point you lose it license and when people get caught they mostly lie another person ( who is low on point) is on the wheels to avoid a ban. Since most speeding offences were captured by cameras

British born means born in Britain. It has no other meaning. If she was born in Nigeria, not even winning a Nobel Prize would make the British refer to her as British born.
