Hi guys,

Please, I applied for the tax GT position. I'm 26 at present. Do I stand a chance(I have 1 year experience in another Big 4)?

Or is it possible for me to withdraw my application and go for advisory instead? Advice please!

As an aside: the back and forth trading of snide comments looks childish to me. Please sheathe your swords, people. I know some elders are reading and shaking their heads.

God bless all of you!!!

If you really want in on tax, lock it in and hope for the best. Are you 26 already or later this year?

.

it is very disheartening to note that many people do not think about the long term effect of the decision they make. if it does not affect them directly, it can affect them in other ways. Just imagine how the next applicant will feel when they notice that the previous set did not put them into consideration in the decision they took, and just imagine if your friend or a member of your family is in the next set. @ednut and Therealadonye, just know that you guys did your best in helping our generation and you showed us love and am sure that you can gain comfort over that fact. But majority of our generation does not want to reciprocate that love.

For those guys that carries whatsapp on their head, think about what will happen if anything happens to your phone, how can you reference the information on whatsapp in a week time, not to talk about a month or a year time? where will your colleagues who does not have whatsapp enabled phones reference to?.

LETS BE EMPATHETIC.
Thank me later

Sadly, I'm 26 already.

But it's all good. I have a little over 1 year audit experience.

Maybe, I'll try investment banking. It looks like a tall order already.

Thanks for the response.

This is not peculiar to this thread alone, you rarely get much out of threads anymore.

As a green horn, threads of previous recruitments helped in developing my job hunting skills. There is a lot you gain from the stories of other people and the Whatsapp craze is robbing thousands off that.

Hi everyone. So I applied for the assurance and tax role last week but I didn’t get any mail. I tried login in today and I mistakenly submitted for advisory again.

I got a successful mail for advisory. Now the problem is I’ve applied for both but i want to delete the advisory but it’s not giving the option to delete it.

Anyone with a solution?

Dont tell felicia u mistakenly submitted d other application o. U must start and complete the applivlcation urself before it can be successful sunmitted. So, find a better way to fine tune ur reason for submitting double application
