I started noticing some white patches on my tongue last year when I was experiencing this https://www.nairaland.com/4690977/peripheral-neuropathy
After carrying out a comprehensive test and nothing strange was discovered, the doctor advised I stop taking all the drugs I got from the pharmacy and try Taking warm water mixed with salt atleast twice a day, which I did, and after one week everything cleared.
Early this year I noticed same thing again. Please doctors what could it be?

Looks more like an oral leukoplakia.

I will advice you to visit a dental surgeon/dentist who might order for a biopsy.

Stop tobacco smoking if you are a smoker.

Stop alcohol and take more antioxidants.

Have you been screened for HIV

Not at all
Your tounge is dirty
Oral truth is always tick white spot that when you brush it removes blood
Normal colour of a tounge is light pink

I don't smoke, I don't do spirit.. I only take beer once in a while(like once a month).
I was screened for hiv last year when I first noticed the whitish tongue, and it was negative.

Ok. Definitely, this is not oral thrush.

I think according to your write up, the only thing I observed you've not done is biopsy.

So, I will still advice that you visit a dentist/ENT surgeon.

Thank you. I decided to snap before brushing so I won't scrape it off.
The white towel-like stuff only appear on my tongue. It doesn't affect any other part of the mouth.
No bumps,
It doesn't hurt,
It becomes more visible early in the morning.
I don't think it's dirt cos it would've disappeared once I brush.
