We hear of Dangote trucks killing people all over the country, accidents on Kaduna-Abuja road, Jos-Abuja, Minna-Abuja, Lagos-Ibadan, Lots in Eastern Nigeria. Na Benin/Edo people dey those places too?

Benin-Lagos road is one of the busiest Federal Highways and people are surprised that accidents happen on it too.

From the way they believe in Juju and diabolical stuff, you can see why pant stealing, yahoo-plus and other diabolical stuff are common in Nigeria.

Once you are a Benin man you are not allowed to be involved in an accident, hence it be related to some kind of sorcery.

Even in jest, all you idiots are doing is reinforcing superstition and stereotypes.

This scenario always plays out when people from Edo comes back from overseas. I have seen them plenty of times charter these Transport vehicles, one to themselves and load it with their stuff and straight to Benin while the owners sit inside.

I have always wondered why they can't let another person "escort" their bags,while they fly to Benin themselves.

I guess they don't have any body they trust.

Soo on point.....why must the returnees be the driver? That's risking his life. After driving in Europe for years.... to come fresh and be driving in Nigeria is like suicide.
