I don’t think we conceded 4 against Chelsea. It was 3 actually.

Although it still doesn’t mean we weren’t woeful. The thing dey vex person to see that even Cardiff that is number 2 on the table of least scoring sides got one past our defence . Even Cardiff number 3 on that same table got three past us on two legs FFS! And we will now say our defence is decent, it’s just injury....

Let's agree the defense is bad and worst in the league.but our attackers supposed to do a Liverpool of SAS's season by scoring gallons of goals, we should be winning like a 5 -4 or loosing like a 4-3.
Then it will be clear defense is the Major and only problem,but for now, distorted defence,lack of width and teams structure are the matters to tackle.

Bros current Arsenal is averaging 2.08 per games, Liverpool 2.29 goals per game and Man city 2.62 goals per game. The attackers are not doing bad compared to their contemporaries. This is a fact. It already clear defense is the major problem. What other pointers do you want?

I think I understand your football school of thought; it is hinged on out scoring your opponents right ? The Liverpool of Suarez era practised this and it still didn’t get them the league they so much desired. Now look at the current Liverpool team with a strong defence see what they are doing. You see if you will be considered a title contender there are matches that will go beyond outscoring ur opponents, rather it’s not conceding that will be ur headache ( and this is what the present arsenal has been unable to do)

I, like most fans want a good and tight defence, I don't like the outscoring opponent style Rodgers used.
I'm only pointing out that, Liverpool despite bad defence that year had attackers covering their defence by scoring loads of goals.
We might have scored a lot,maybe because Auba/laca are prolific in front of goal but I see us struggling too much to break teams down.
I remembered Arsenal vs city at the Emirates, sterling scored early around 10mimt, oir attackers couldn't score nor looked like scoring till Bernardo finished us around 80 mint.
Fa cup against utd, we had 10 added time, we didn't look like scoring,city/liverpol could have leveled up.
Till we strengthen our defense,let's set the team up to get scoring from first half.
