What Kanu said is that the part of Adamawa where Atiku comes from was in Cameroun but thru referendum undertaken (several hundred years ago) that part became part of Nigeria (part of Adamawa state). Kanu said this to point to the need for referendum for Biafra to pull out of Nigeria. Kanu didnt mean that Atiku is a Camerounian. After all many tribes in Nigeria, includng the Igbos and Yorubas, came from somewhere.
