So the Olanipekun is fighting for a corrupt CJN and calls it a fight for the future of Democracy! Jokers!
But when he fought for Tinubu at the CCB under the same Danladi Umar and on the basis of a false assets declaration forms,he wasn't fighting for a corrupt cause abi?

CBN Governor like CJN are appointed by the president too, just like EFCC chairman.
The CJN is not appointed by the president. The most senior Supreme Court justice automatically becomes the CJN. The president only confirms him or her, and he has no choice than to do so. The president has the right to fire the CBN governor, EFCC chairman etc because they were appointed by him.

People should understand the position of the CJN. He heads one of the 3 arms of government. The head of one arm cannot wake up and fire the head of the other without due process.

And for people saying Buhari only acted on the CCT order, so one sharia court in Gombe state can ask the president to fire the Senate President and he will obey? The CCT has no right to issue such order. The Attorney General of the federation knows better. But then, this is Nigeria.

The question is when was the mistake admitted?

Answer: It was during the CCT investigation.

Why didn't he correct it at the CCB? He thought he could beat the system.

Don't support corruption!
The CCB is supposed to carry out her investigations n point out any discrepancy noticed to the public servant involved, it's only when the person couldn't provide satisfactory explanations that the CCB can refer the case to the CCT,was this done in onnoghen's case?, buhari is only trying to twist the system, don't support bias n injustice.

No, far away from it. Nothing was twisted, the judicial system remains clean as long as corrupt practices are not condoned. It's the function of the executive to make sure all systems are working and Onnoghen' s case is not an exemption.

The best is for such practice not to have happened. The CCB figuring out and reporting it is enough trouble.

please don't Dodge the issue, did the CCB carried out her investigations n pointed out her discoveries to onnoghen n onnoghen failed to give satisfactory explanations that necessitated the CCB to refer the Matter to the CCT,yes or no.its people like you that are propelling buhari to feel like an emperor n take others for fools just because it suits your agenda. As long as it has not been changed, the law is the law n it has to be respected n followed strictly.onnoghen should fight his case with courage,he certainly has good grounds to,I would do same been in such position.

Oh, kemi's accusations were false, says who? Which court? which investigation? You investigated and came out with this? No court has pronounced the current CJN guilty, so it was wrong for anyone to force him out. The CJN is like the president and the senate president. U dont force them out by allegation. U must follow due process. No matter how much u want to cover this, it is not right bro. It is more like some people claimed the president didnt have certificate and he said he has, but no evidence that he has, then the senate president force him out. The Judiciary is an independent arm and must be respected. Let the due process be followed, that is all we asked.
I absolutely agree that the judiciary is an independent arm and hence, due process was followed. The President does have a certificate, the whole situation surrounding it is just a hoax.

This CCT report is enough to have made Onnoghen make a decision of resigning. You don't need a court to tell you that. He confessed to these crime already, he didn't deny the over N1 billion found in his DOM accounts. What do you need a court for?

Now since the court has been adopted, has he been cleared? I'm sure you're aware that recently the motion he filed to stay his submission in court was rejected and do you know what the court declared his case? A criminal case! That says it all my friend.

This is how it works, in a simpler way: once CCB point you out for false assets declaration, excessive money in your account or any form of unethical practice, the CCT takes it up to crosscheck and confirm if true. In most cases, after the CCT, EFCC goes after the person. That's has not happened to Onnoghen yet and you guys are screaming...due process, dictator and whatnot.

Onnoghen was to answer the tribunal not CCB and he duly confessed he forget to declare his full assets.

Don't be deceived, he doesn't have any courage even the boosting PDP members in the senate headed by his strong supporter after Atiku, Saraki, could not hold a preliminary regarding his case. They had to call it off and shift all hearings to after the election which obviously means Onnoghen would have known his fate before then. Actually, that was a smart move by Saraki. He knows he's gone already. There's no good grounds here. This case is a one route.

No, pls don't call the president certificate stuff a hoax, pls. It is not. If it was, he wouldnt av gone to the extend of getting statement of result from waec.

Resignation is not in the constitution. It is a matter of choice. Senate president had similar issue but he stayed until he cleared his name.

Why was he not forced out? Bro what is wrong is wrong. One of the biggest problems we have in this country is lack of due process.

The due process was not followed at all. The constitution intentionally didn't use the word suspension becus there is no need to suspend another arm of the govt. What Buhari did is an impeachable offense.

If there is need to suspend another arm of the govt, the constitution would av mention that. U can remove, or impeach another arm of the govt but not suspend.

It is like Buhari suspending Senate president. It cant happen. Or the senate president suspending the president. The constitution made it clear that the CJN can only be removed. The profess of removing a CJN was made hard becus it is the highest body of the judiciary. Just like the method of impeaching the senate president or the president are all hard because they are heads of independent arms.

That's what they always say they're fighting for to attract national and international pity.

What's democratic in defending an obvious looter? It's just baffling where our lawyers stand sometimes in court.

Well, it's not new, even Evans the kidnapper have a lawyer that represents him.
Let the courts decide who is a looter. It's like some people in their support for this regime are simply shortsighted. They don't know or pretend not to know that what is happening now is a precedence which if not corrected, future presidents will cite it as a reference to 'suspend' any Supreme Court Justice they do not like.

That's a compliment I really can't take. LOL. I'd pitch my tent with the truth.

Thanks for the kind intention anyways. Let's hope for the best in the interest of the rule of law. We see again!

When I said corrupt there was no exceptions.

We need to realise that Nigerian Politics is not between Political Parties.. It is between the Politicians and the People.

They know the moment we unite against them they know they will become irrelevant that's why they divide us on Religious and Ethnical ground just to ensure we never unite.

So we need to wake Bleep up!
