No doubt, 2 days shipping is incomparable... There's nothing as sweet as it for business. I'm just thinking of those (including me) who have secured deals weeks ago. Some base their calculations on $10 before coming up with their TLC and shipping $30+ now go weak body ooo

Lionlee216, if 2 days shipping will be the only option from now on, let it be. But be soft on the price for the first "2 days shipping" coming up on 16th, since many deals coming with it were not planned along.

I have some ebayers with over 10 phones with me like aywhy93. It will be suicidal to collect 2 days shipping from hin hand per phone. .

If feb 9 bleeped up, I'll just charge a flat fee from those with so many items on ground already

2 days shipping go spoil this biz. Firstly it is almost same thing as buying the phone in Nigeria. So everyone will almost be a seller.

Secondly peeps go dey sell phones cheaply to hit the market again. And this will make phones loose their value. Especially for These nairaland seller

Thirdly, he go reduce profit. Some of theses phones we dey see 15k. So with the extra charge how much we go come see. 5k for an importeditem?? ?

I said samething... Chicago is not ripe for 2 days shipping, it would just kill the price of stuffs..

This 2 days shipping has it's pros and cons. The pros outweighs the cons though.

Pros
*Faster arrival time obviously (you can flip for quick profit ND buy again)
*Laptop and low/mid range phones won't get much of a difference.

My only issues is those who buy bulk high end phones.
Imagine picking 6 iPhone XS max. That's 40*6
I just hope you'll have some form of discount for these kind of cases.

Maybe you can also make provision for regular shipping once in a month. Some people don't mind the wait.

Overall, 2 days shipping is a good development. It's long over due. We have no choice than to low-ball everyone

Take for instance buying a 7 plus for 230$ plus 35$ shipping and 25$ fuel cost, TLC would be 290$×370=107,300. How much can someone resell and have in mind that the 230$ for 7 plus can go as high to 250$ or 260$. We've seen lots of cases were a single deal is sent to Lionlee by plenty people here cos Chicago does not have lots of deals compared to L.A. I think this 2 days shipping should be for this items that's yet to land, then we can return to the normal cargo shipping, That's my opinion. Thanks.

I swear, both the 2 days shipping and normal shipping have their pros and cons. The best thing go be make the 2 Dey available and people go Dey choose which one they want. If it’s possible that way, I go Dey sub for normal shipping most times and 2days shipping sometimes. It’s not easy to have many phones on ground and you wan go collect am, you con receive shipping invoice of #200k from Lionlee. Body go too weak, I swear.!! My head will just be turnioniown

Some of us have a way of doing business that the normal shipping seem to be the best. Like this, You have some phones on ground, you dey sell them. You don put some for road via normal shipping, you sell them finish, your items via normal shipping don land, you collect them and Dey sell those ones too, at the same time, you don put the next batch for road again, on repeat like that... This way, there’s always market to sell and the profit is always worth the 5-10days wait.

If I get 50 Nairaland accounts ni, I go use them share that your post so we go end up with normal shipping

If you do the calculation, the weight of the total items from so many people with fewer phones would most likely be up to 100lbs while the few who opted for normal shipping with more items will also have enough items that will total to a reasonable number of lbs, this way both the 2 days shipping and normal shipping will be possible at intervals, and one will not affect the other. My humble opinion sir!!!

Unfortunately, You are right!.. I want to see if I can reduce the shipping fee more to accommodate more people and do 2 days shipping but if not, after Feb 16th, we go back to normal shipping...

With the exception of southwest airline which allows 23kg check in luggage, it's very rare to see such.

Lithium ion batteries are to be check in as hand luggage.

No airline will accept shipment from an individual unless it's coming from a freight forwarder and I'm looking towards arround $4k to get that done.

A freight forwarder also wont lift your items and take straight to airline.

Shipping in western world is always complicated.

So basically now boss
I can pay X3 of the usual charges for a ' 2 days shipping' and still need to wait till about two weeks from now before i can get the item.
Not only that it applies to all pickup services in NL its also going make life for all resellers,harder.
Those who opt for the normal usual shipping when can they get thier items ?

Oga lionlee, X is more expensive than XR for market o. It would be better if everything could be charged on a flat rate, except maybe the XS and XS max
