Yeah.
That's how bad it is.
Unfortunately Arsenal fans will continue to bear the brunt with higher ticket and merchandise/replica kit prices etc.

He wont let go till he turns the rams financial fortunes around. It could be up to a decade before that happens though being in LA (a big market) may help.
Dem no get sense jare @fans.

But honestly I don't see how losing to Man City is a big deal when you know Arsenal will still finish in the top four.

One error Emery made was starting Auba and Laca. But can't blame him, there's very little quality to tinker with in that squad.

only palace and Lyon won surprisingly there, everyone will taste his L at Etihad..

I've never liked Auba and laca starting together, both are CF and world class finishers, neither is good at creating chances, maybe laca a bit. One has to be dropped for a creative player on the wings or middle...

Torreira, kosc, mustafi, leno and monreal did well for me

Guendouzi’s confidence, movements, guts and skills reminds me of Barcelona’s legendary midfielders. They like to hog the ball like him, but also have the skills to protect it
Others especially the defenders and attackers except iwobi are too afraid to lose the ball

Arsenal need more fearless and skillful players like him, kola, ozil,Ramsey, mhicky,Auba and many others rely on side safe passes and flicks to get us going forward.

Next game will determine if top4 is possible.

Not that I expected us to win the match but I think Emery got it wrong. Was he aiming at winning or was he avoiding losing. For me it should have been the later first then try to win when the coast is clear. Starting Laca and Auba was a mistake.

Joke apart, i admire and respect arsenal fans' resilience and positivity though. Y'all never stop hoping and believing even when the situation seems hopeless. For the past 15 years y'all still support this uber useless former big club and y'all still believe this club can achieve things. Kudos to arsenal fans worldwide cool

You should praise Mustafi bro, he stayed back when the team wanted to attack and I think as a defender he did the right thing.

At some point, Emery and management must make a decision regarding this Ozil situation. A player of Ozil's quality can not continue to sit on the bench especially against top teams. If he is not a part of Emery's plan then let us be open about it and trade him somewhere else. Otherwise, surround Ozil with players that can cover his weakness so he can have the freedom to exploit his strengths. Ozil is a magical player, I don't care what anyone says and his strengths on the pitch outweigh his weaknesses if he is under the right system.

A close look at most of our losses, including yesterday's loss to City you would discover that we had no one to transition the ball from the middle of the park to the final 3rd of the pitch where we had 2 isolated strikers. That is where we missed Ozil a great deal. We played very well in the first half and fought hard but with possession, there was no creativity.

On Spot, I watched Guendozi last night trying desperately to carry the ball to the strikers but he always get dispossessed before he got there. That midfield needed Ozil yesterday

Man U fans like trolling like people who don't watch football. Iwobi lost the ball in front of the box that is obviously before the defense could take shape.

When I go to your thread, the same thing: una go just dey discuss beer parlour football. Ordinary football manager some of una no fit play, una go dey form tactician. grin

...... It's quite clear Emery doesn't fancy Ozil at all. Bringing on Suarez instead of him yesterday when we needed a creative outlet was the final proof for anyone who was still in doubt. Emery began the season training with Ozil and trying to implement Ozil into his style of football....he thought Ozil was important and made him one of the five captains. But, Ozil didn't seem to grasp Emery's idea or didn't want to. Since then, it's been war between them. An offer to take Ozil on loan to PSG came in January but he declined the move for whatever reasons.
......Wenger tried building his football around Ozil, see where that got him. I believe Ozil has been given chances upon chances by the new manager and he has failed to impress. Claims that Ozil creates chances are true but clear-cut chances are far in between. He doesn't control games or the tempo of games the way other number 10s do in the EPL. Since he has stopped taking set pieces, his assists have dropped dramatically which indicates where majority of his assists in Arsenal colours came from.
.....He is good on his day but those days rarely come anymore....He is not wanted by the manager not because of his salary which isn't his fault but because he doesn't fit in Emery's plans and doesn't intend to. He won't have changed a thing in yesterday's game as he changed nothing in the United game after he came on. It's best all Arsenal fans accept Ozil isn't the player he once was and cut our loss. I mean what other defensive player do you want from Torreira and the little boy or two of the most lethal strikers in the league and yet he hasn't performed. He won't be with us next season and I hope his situation won't turn into that of Adebayor and City, where they had to pay a percentage of his salary after he left the club until his contract with them expired. It is looking towards that direction now for Ozil. He surely won't be playing for Arsenal for long.

Which Ozil? The same Ozil that was ineffective and useless against Cardiff and had to be substituted?
You guys should just stop insulting our intelligence with this constant excuses for Ozil. Initially it was said that Ozil needed top class strikers in front of him and not Giroud to shine. We have Auba and Laca, and Ozil is still toothless and feeble.

Ozil is a cancer to Arsenal, that his 350k is burning deep into us, considering that Kroenke will not loan us any free money to invest.

Ozil should go. Arsenal don't need Ozil.

Those away fixtures against Everton, Watford, Wolves and Leicester.
Those will make or Mar our season. If we don't get a grip of our leaky defense, I don't see us grabbing maximum points from those fixtures.

And of course, the home game against United, is a must win.

Seriously and rationally speaking, unless Chelsea and United continue to wobble, I don't see us making top 4 this season. Away wins against Everton, wolves, Watford and Leicester doesn't look like a feat this current weak bunch of Arsenal players can achieve.
