Those guys didnt enter the scene as teenagers. They might have hustled as teenagers but didnt hit it big till their 20's, like most artists. I think hes talking more about artists dt teenagers could relate to cos they were mates.

Wizkid, Davido and burnaboy all got record deals and hits as teenagers. A lot of the kudos needs to go to bankyW too for believing in young talent. And of course to the artists too cos if they hadnt delivered hit songs/albums, they wouldnt have become anything.

Wizkid wasn't so young when he rose to fame. Davido is probably 5 to 8 years younger than Wizkid who looks like someone that had growth retardation.

But the guys statement is trash.... Wizkid didn't open any door for Davido, Davido forced the door open by himself....

It's a pure fallacy to attribute Davido's success to Wizkid. Wizkid was around 20 when he blew while Davido was still a teenager all within the same time frame.

Before then, parent won't even allow their young child go into music, but with Wizkid success, we saw a lot of people go into music at a young age

British TV Host Adesope Olajide who talked Starboy records' boss' rise to fame in an interview with DJ Abass, stated that without Wizkid's success, there won't be a Davido, Burna Boy.

According to British TV Host Adesope, Wizkid was the first Nigerian artiste to develop a young audience fan base, an era he described as Justin Bieber's era in Nigeria. He further added that the Star Boy Records Boss inspired Davido and many others in the music scene today. Adesope also stated that without Wizkid's success, there won't be a Davido, Burna Boy and the rest because at that time, young kids of his age were not allowed to make music and become big stars in Africa.
