autojosh:Fast degrading headline for ojodu-berger bus stop is a wrong caption. Nothing is fast degrading about this place in question. That the place is being littered with dirt's as at the time you took the picture doesn't mean it is degrading. I pass through this route virtually everyday. I'm not into this your caption. |

Lagos is dirty! I wonder who is responsible for the dirt - Aliens or Lagosians? |

autojosh:This is not lack of maintenance but simply pure disorder and indiscipline. Government's inefficiency to enforce law and order. Obviously for political reasons |

Dirty, unkempt with litters every where. The average Nigerian is dirty. We need War Against Indiscipline working in Nigeria. Walahi, how can people be this dirty and destructive? |

What's degrading here .. Your choice of words sef @op . It only needs proper sweeping. That's all. The facilities here are still in top shape |

That is what happens when the government builds infrastructure instead of building the people. |

The only thing our criminal politicians know best is how to award contracts, take their cut and stuff it in with Babariga. Senseless people. Whatever becomes of the contract after their 4 year "chop-make-I-chop" 'gofament' is not their wahala o. Btw, how can Nigeria take Facility Management (FM) seriously when no Nigerian institution offer that at either undergraduate or postgraduate level? We have a long way to go abeg. I hope private universities like CU would take up this challenge and bridge the prevalent gap in our *never-innovating" and "ever-stagnant" public universities. Many public universities in this country have not added any new Course in the past 40 years, despite the day-to-day changes and trends in the business environment. Over 200,000 useless B.Sc. & HND Quantity Survey degrees on the streets, yet we are hoping that someday angels will come manage our public and private facilities. |

OP, i still passed through the place a few weeks ago. There is nothing wrong with the actual construction (the bridge, the interlocking floor, the median, etc), the only problem is the dirty nature of most Lagosians/Nigerians. |

From the pictures, the population in Lagos is too much, so the pressure on the facilities will be much

Hmmm, what I notice is that most if not all those bus-stops in Lagos do not have multiple trash bins around them that people can use. |
| Re: The New Berger Bus-stop, Lagos Is Fast Degrading (PHOTOS) by NoToPile: 8:04pm On Feb 05, 2019 |
Beautyaddy:Lool lagosians will steal the trash bins If the bins are immovable you would still see people litter the floor I am almost certain the Lawma sweepers sweep that place every morning. Harsh and very extreme measures are what will work in lagos, 50k fine or 3months in prison for littering should be a start, if any governor implements this its also here on nairaland we would say arrh governor xyz is being unfair to the citizens. The problem with Nigeria is Nigerians o jare. |

Wasted two weeks of my life over Christmas thinking Lagos could possibly be a tourist destination... Ended up worse for wear at the end of it all, full of regrets. Just one big hype. It remains an unlivable city as far as I am concerned. |
