Chevron didn't recruit those people. Even in the US, a company you work for has no business with you of youre a contract staff working with them. The people they have business with is your employer.Well, I don't have to argue with you cos you're still in the university. When you're done you'll understand what the labour market and employment means.

You think you know, but you obviously know nothing about the issue you are arguing about. Find a person involved or read more about the issue to fully comprehend their debacle.
Just hope and pray that you don't fall into such nondescript arrangements by any company; maybe then, you will understand things better.

For your information, I got the same job in 2013 but I didn't take it because I was already working somewhere. What you're saying now is the reason why companies like this make a clear distinction between their staff and contract staff recruited by other companies to work for them because of accountability and legal reasons. Chevron does this training for two years for people recruited by a coy contracted to chevron. Chevron reserves the right to either employ these people after the training or send them away. This is not their normal graduate recruitment scheme as they do that one every 4 years and recruit Nigerian graduates who are their permanent staff. Why should they employ people that they don't have any contract with nor promised anything simply because they trained them?And just to let you know, I can't fall into such arrangents cos I've passed that level years ago.Now face your studies so you'll be able to get good grades and then use it to get something doing for yourself.

Back to your claims, you said you were called in 2013 for the same program, so if I may ask you; what do you know of that programme, which year did it start, how many groups have they trained and how many have they staffed.
Likewise, do you have any idea of any other country in which same Chevron runs that programme and how they have handled their trainees; has any of those trainees been put in a contract position?
Like I already said before, don't pretend to know what you don't know; half knowledge breeds mediocrity.

I'm just cautioning you so you don't keep going around spreading the wrong news about a company that has done no wrong to those people you claim were on training. I guess you know one of the guys this affected or maybe you're even one of them. But in case you do, in the offer you received to come to the training school, did you see any statement thereally telling you that it's chevron inviting you for the job or was the letter addressed by Chevron or does the paper they used have the chevron logo?I don't think you understand English so I won't respond to you anymore after this.

In your typical manner of I-too-know and confused assumptions, you didn't answer any of the questions I raised; they would have answered all the questions you asked and given you more credible understanding of the VTP/OTP programme.
I however want you to know that the complaints of those guys surpass your bloated ego and justification of what is inadmissible in normal climes, but as typical with Nigerians like you, once it doesn't affect you, you like to blab and form untouchable, so if I may beg your pardon, stop making a fool of yourself Mr. ITK, who knows those who don't understand English.
