ASUU Has Not Made Final Decision On Strike, Disregard All Fake News by Hardeysolution(op): 3:34pm On Feb 06, 2019
There has been reports flying all around that ASUU has vowed to continue the strike action. This is not only baseless but as well founded on unverifiable truth.

The newspaper agency, dailypost, got their information from an unverified Twitter account without making reference to the Union's president. The Union President has not yet spoken on the matter but because of the sensitivity of the information, fake news have sprouted out.

Saharareporters as well gave a report but in this report, the referendum conducted at University of Ibadan was the only result used for this assertion.

It is therefore advisable that the entire public should wait for the Union's decision tomorrow.

recall that the Union President, Prof. Ogunyemi only said the press will be addressed after their meeting tomorrow.

However, many schools voted for the suspension of the strike. The final decision lies with the National Executive Council of the Union.

How can the self acclaimed ASUU twitter handle and Sahara reporters stoop so low to chunk out unverified reports.how can they use on outcome of unibadan to feed us as the outcome of the referendum conducted by various universities in the country.

I have told people time without number, that twitter handle is fake and has been making fun of people. It even some times turn to news blogs to update. The person behind that account will be busted soon.

ASUU, a union that is not even updated and active enough on social media to know that an unverified twitter account is operating and misleading the public in their name, how can they possibly improve our public universities. Any money the FG gives them may be a waste sef.

Dont mind them... Nigerians can be easily fooled...

In fact, the news said, 200 memebers voted for continuation and 50 voted for suspension in Ibadan Chapter.... Common sense will tell anyone that there is no way ASUU can be made up of only 250 lecturers... for where?
