The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has released a travel advisory for the APC presidential campaign in Lagos.

The travel advisory became necessary so as to enlighten commuters on affected routes to be used by the campaign motorcade of the President.

The presidential campaign event will take place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere on Saturday, 9th Feb, 2019.

This travel advisory is useless without stating the time frame for commuters to possibly tweak their movements.

Is the closure from 7am to 7pm?

Lagos cannot just be on lockdown for three consecutive Saturdays 2nd, 9th and 16th February just because some folks are doing campaign/elections that might not get the common man off the radar of penury

I wonder if this closures of roads for rallies are obtainable in the western world during electioneering campaigns

The funniest thing I've heard today is that people are actually being paid to attend APC's presidential campaign rally... I don't understand the logic. If you pay people to attend your rally, would that change their minds about voting you. Or is there a payment for that also?
Nigeria is just one big conundrum. Everything is done differently in my country.
