....Am sure u lack information on how the system works..The discos are charged with the responsibility of providing metres to their customers in which they have accepted..but the cost of those metres are preventing them from distributing at once..They are doing it in batches..for example Ikedc are supplying metres in batches in which I am a beneficiary of one...
Lol... I don't owe 1kobo, I was told to pay 35k before I can have it. And the excuse you give do not make sense, if it is so then majority of the houses under IKEDC should have prepaid meter in their house, see after the election, they will stop distributing it.

And again, you lack information on how the system work... Since they took over, if they are serious everybody will have a prepaid meter by now.

I agree 100%
Corruption has eaten deep into This countey, to stop it will be hard
Blame pdp for your woes, obasanjo spent $16bn power fund with nothing to show for it, Jonathan on the other hand sold distribution companies which is the one responsible for all those problems u quoted, the discos were sold to friends and family who are more concerned with their pockets, despite FG not saddled with the responsibility of providing meters to the now private discos, they still did. from the news you can also see the minister begging the discos to give out those meters but they won't cos they know it won't favor them and even if they eventually do,u have to pay outrageous amounts for them and there is nothing FG can do due to legal constraints

Nice development though over here in Port harcourt we have light for maximum of 7hours every week. That's quite very poor
Seriously electricity supply is so so poor in port Harcourt. Even with the prepaid meters no light.

In term of power supply, I will rate fashola 20/100.

He has totally failed, I don't understand why he can't give an order of "No prepaid meter no money should be paid to the discos". Estimated billing is the biggest bullshit I've ever heard in my life... How can private companies be cheating Nigerians yet the Federal government and the minister in charge is not taking a very strong step against it huh

Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria, when we start coming out to protest madly like it's done in sane climes, then we will start seeing changes.

If it was in an European country the discos are trying this nonsense estimated billing there would have been a mad protest that will shake the government/country... Look at what happened in France smiley how can places where they hardly have light for up to 7 hours in a day be paying 10k in a month shocked is that not madness and some other people pay more than 10k.

When will Nigerians start fighting for their right?
nigerians are extremly docile....and those assholes know that....

nigerians have a strange turn the other chick mentality....

you will see some nigerians wantin back colonisation....some will even prefer white masters to black masters than fight to be completly self dependent...its pathetic actualy....you cant try this with europeans....war would break out....

if nigerians were realy self aware, people like atiku, fayose, funny funny kayode, and that tarzan would not dare come in their faces....
