Undoubtedly Obi did very little infrastructurally for Awka but did a lot for Onitsha and for inter-state roads. I hope you know that the federal expressway from head bridge to Upper Iweka was totally broken down before Obi's tenure. That it was Obi that reconstructed and expanded that expressway from two lanes to three lanes. Obiano should have completed the expressway from Umunya all the way to Awka but he spent the money on those oil-rig bridges and three over-inflated flyovers in Awka.

JOSAN Integrated Rice Mills & Farms At Umumbo on Monday, 11th of February 2019.

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State will on Monday, 11th of February 2019 commission JOSAN Integrated Rice Mills & Farms (JOSAN GIANT MILL) locates at Umumbo, Ayamelum LGA.

The mill formerly known as Omor Rice Mill will help boost rice production in the state, create jobs and also re-energise the local economy.

In a statement, Chief Oliver Okeke, Chairman, JOSAN Integrated Rice Mills & Farms said guests are expected to be seated by 12 noon, as the commissioning of the mill, and the Anambra Water and Irrigation project will commence almost immediately by His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano.

For those attending, direction to the mill is as follows: Drive from Awka to Igbariam, Igbariam to Anaku, Anaku to Omor, Omor to Umumbo and to JOSAN GIANT MILL.
