when you begin you have to an emphasis on basic languages. Which will help you to clear core concept of programming. Then after you can move through the advanced level. First basic languages are C and C++. Then you can look out java, PHP, and .net etc. There are various online tutorials available you can take help of those tutorials.

I started learning programming from 2012, but due to some factors I abandoned it. I want to start afresh and I have some questions to ask
1. I plan on using Ubuntu os, since I was told that it is great for programmer, how true is that.
2. if question one answer is yes, what are the alternative program to download on Ubuntu. like eclipse, netbeans e.t.c alternative.
3.which compiler alternative does it have
my bosses in the house, I am looking forward to your reply
My dear you lost interest naturally because you never had anything in mind to use programming for. When I delved into the programming world around 2017 , I started with c# because I just wanted to learn programming. All of a sudden within months I lost interest .
But around April last year I was captivated with the use of programming for web development because I also wanted to develop a website too. At this point I knew what I wanted to use programming for and this alone determined the languages I learnt. I started with front end markup languages like html and css and javascript. Later on I started with back-end languages like python. I can tell you boldly that I use python for web development.
My point is use your mission to motivate youself on what language you want to learn.

Thanks a lot for the motivation. I already started learning programming again around last year October, and my brother it been fun all the way, since I had basic in html, I jump right into Java and I have no regrets, I read eBook, and watch lot of video tutorials on YouTube.

You are welcome. All programming languages is usually known to dominate a particular field. I believe that should determine which one you should learn that is if you already know what field you really admire most.
Java and Kotlin dominates the Android app development, c# (game and desktop development), php (web development), python (data science and artificial intelligence). If you want to choose any of this language let your interest for any field determine that ,else you might loose motivation along the way.

I am trying to learn programming online but the tutor or language am using to learn it is non existent in the sense dat it's not a known language, am asking if I should still continue with that language as my basic or should I change immediately into learning the particular languages that would be useful TO me...
waiting for ur response.
Thanks. ..

Programming is a skill that everyone Should acquire in this 21st century. However it's very challenging and intimidating for newbies learning to program.
My advice for the newbies is to learn the basics with a language that is easy to understand. I would recommend javascipt because it easy to learn and it's one of best languages so far. If you are interested in learning javascipt you can visit www.javascipt.info

Good evening,
Plss, I want to know if I can be a very good programmer learning on my own(YouTube or ebooks). If "yes", how long and how much dedication would I need.
Don't ignore, it's really important to me. Thanks

Any language you like, because ultimately logic of programming matters. But if possible choose trendy development language, for example ecommerce development is trending now a days, so better to choose any for it.

Hi All,

I am here to introduce to you a new mobile game store called Aha which will launch officially in Africa later in the year. We would like to reach out to game developers who have games and would like to have their games on our platform. However, we would like to promote games made by African developers more hence we are open to submissions by African developer. We not just publish these games, we are also willing to assist these developers in making their games better and also offer them their unique monetisation technique. Should this interest you, kindly reply this thread or send a mail to moshood.a@transsion.com.

To check out our app, kindly use this link download.ahagamecenter.com.

Thank you.
