What’s my own with trying him. Na me be buhari?? I just hate the way our leaders behave in this country. It took kemi adeosun forever to resign. We have seen politicians in other countries resigned instantly for lesser allegations. Will you believe he’s innocent if it was pdp that accused him.

ABUJA—-It is more trouble for the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen, as the National Judicial Council, NJC, on Monday, ordered him to respond to a fresh petition the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, lodged against him.

The suspended CJN was handed seven days to respond to allegations the EFCC raised against him.

The Council, which took the decision at the end of its emergency meeting in Abuja, further constituted a Preliminary Complaints Assessment Committee, to consider responses to both Onnoghen and the Acting CJN, Justice Tanko Muhammad, to various petitions against them.

The NJC said it would reconvene on Wednesday to take a final decision on the fate of Justices Onnoghen and Muhammad.

while the decision of the NJC is been awaited over the onnoghen n Tanko saga, isn't the actions of the buhari/Apc executive of suspending the CJ n now forwarding series of petitions against him not tantamount to putting the cart before the horse?is this acceptable in law?,to me it's all a desperate contrived after thought actions in a bid to justify initial malice,the shame will be on the NJC really if they give in cheaply to the coersions of buhari without abiding by their rules n prescedents to do justice in this case, it's a pity but everyday it's been proven that Southerners generally are just a bunch of educated monkies lead by northern agressive goats.
