Fashola is a failure as far as Power Sector is concerned under his watch.

Estimated billing remains monumental fraud as far as Nigerians are concerned.

I am not a politician but whoever knows Fashola should speak the bitter truth to him because I don't wamt to call him any unprintable name. The greatest fraud I have ever seen in this country is this estimated billing method. Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company is the worst out of the dozens of discos we have in this country. How can you sit at the affluent corner of your office and begins to cook figure for people to pay? How can you circulate a uniform bill ranging from N15k, N20k and N30k for everyone in my area at Ishaga here in Ojodu/Berger to pay when you know our transformer has not been functioning well all this while.

For how long shall we continue to pay for darkness for God's sake?

The only language IKDC don't want to hear is prepaid meter because you have to pay N15k at the end of the month whether you use light or not and they know they will realise another millions of naira from the so called N3k illegal reconnection fee.

One notable prepaid meter company once came to our rescue with a plan to provide some prepaid meters for the entire area but Ikeja Electric frustrated the entire process because of their selfish interest. We have now been pushed to the wall.

Believe me, it can't happen in any sane society anywhere in the world.

NERC is dead... SERVICOM has gone to sleep. Nigerian Human Rights Bodies has been compromised with fat envelopes. Our traditional institution is weak. Fashola is enjoying the illegal tax emanating from this cursed money being charged & he thinks govt can do well with it.

They keep lying to Buhari that everything is well.

Someone who has gone on a vacation since October was confronted with a bill of N96k.

There is indeed a country.

The same thing is happening with EEDC.

Very conscienceless set of people. They don't want to distribute prepaid meters.

You are not alone my brother. I'm also under Ikeja distribution. I suffered the same estimated billing for years even after paying for prepaid meters. Hallelujah they finally brought the metres after paying for them 2years ago, they brought them last week. I paid #45k for each.

This woman is a disgrace. Like what does a paternity test have to do with deactivation of passport and driver's license?!?
There is no way the government can revoke citizenship nor a driver's license based on a paternity test. Somebody should please give Madam Kemi her med(s)

Did you or your community contact the distribution company in charge of your billings? Funny how people sit at home and expect everything to fall in place automatically

Chai, Madam Koo. cry

Onlytru - You are right about the revocation of citizenship but wrong on the second count.
Mind you, what she really meant is that; despite being a citizen, any application for a new passport is likely to be denied.

Child Support Payments
If you owe $2,500 or more in child support, you are not eligible to receive a U.S. passport.

Pay your child support arrears to the appropriate state child support enforcement agency before applying for your passport.

If You've Already Applied for your Passport
Make arrangements to pay your child support arrears with the appropriate state child support enforcement agency.
The state agency reports to HHS that you've made acceptable payment arrangements.
HHS removes your name from their list and reports this to us. This may take 2-3 weeks.
We verify that HHS removed your name.
We process your application normally.
Please Note: Direct all questions about your child support arrears to the appropriate state child support enforcement agency. We have no information about your child support obligations, just if you have arrears greater than $2,500.

Driver’s License Reinstatement

The Georgia Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) has made revisions to the driver’s license process as a result of an amendment to GA Law, O.C.G.A. §19-11.9.3(o). The law states that DCSS will inform delinquent noncustodial parents (NCPs) of resources that are available to them as potential alternatives to driver’s license suspension.

These License suspension options are available to any NCP who notifies DCSS about significant changes in their employment and income. They must provide verification of a new job, the loss of a job or any change in income. It is very important for the NCP to contact DCSS as soon as possible so that they will have an opportunity to explain their circumstances. They will also be encouraged to sign an Enforcement Deferral which will help them to avoid license suspension if they pay as agreed.

Don't blame fashola and its apparent that you dont know how the entire electricity industry works.

Blame GEJ for selling to his croonies (the likes of tunde ayeni, abdulsalami etc over competent firms like GE ,Schneider Electric etc)
